All three league leaders play Spurs, Villa, Wolves and Brighton. They’re all tricky assignments especially Spurs who will go on a CL qualification run no doubt. This just makes the City v Gunners game even bigger. The repercussions of City losing are huge, as they will fall 4 points behind...
Agree. Not as clinical and they aren’t putting sides to the sword and are dropping points. But they’re still unbeaten in about 20 matches. I’m predicting City to draw against Arsenal which will suit Liverpool just fine. I still think City are the most likely to compete with us in the final 10...
We need to stay ahead of City. I really hope Arsenal can scratch a draw because other than that game and also against Spurs away they are definitely winning maximum points.
Arsenal on the other hand have a brutal run home. They’ve been playing some brilliant football but can they keep it up...
Feels like we should’ve won, as we had the better opportunities. Although Doku was close to scoring in the 88th minute. Also, we committed theft taking full points against Forest in the 99th minute. Swings in roundabouts.
If Arsenal take full points at the Etihad and away against Spurs they...
Doesn’t sound as bad. Precautionary ?
Jürgen Klopp told his post-match press conference: "We don't know [yet]. Ibou said to me when he passed me in that moment, 'I thought if I do another sprint then it could be bad.' So, he said he should be fine, but we don't know.
Mo, Nunez and Diaz on the counter is mental. We’ll be lucky to own 35% of the ball verse City but could still score a s**t load with those three giving City fits.
Really hope Gomez isn’t injured too.

Gomez
VVD

Szob
Mac
Diaz
Nunez
Mo
Absolutely. But it does have an adverse impact on their squad depth. Nunes evens out our loss of Jones to an extent and Doku is probably their Diaz equivalent. In a game of inches I’ll take those outs!
How good do the Gunners look. Are they a bigger threat than City? Outside of that game I can’t see them dropping points. City are so consistent though.
Nunez the ultimate wildcard. We could win the league on the back of a mental three months of Nunez going absolutely ham.
I’m guessing there...
Justice served. Liverpool should’ve had the ball at the recommencement of play due to the foul on Konate. In this case two wrongs made a right as both incidents happened in the same play. What a match!
Great win but hard not to look ahead to next weeks matches. Ideally Szob and Darwin get some more minutes into their legs and Mo comes on for 15-20 mins against Prague. Also if possible Mac, VVD, Gakpo and Diaz play limited minutes or rested as they’ve been overworked the past month.
