Without seeing the game, I am actually quite impressed with the performance Oatlands put up. Especially being a lot younger than last year.
Score wise, it was a better effort than what they were putting out last year, and Mt Pleasant are certainly a much stronger side.
Only baby steps, but...
Nah, haven't heard anything more than "some Vic Amateur comp"
I think it may have been someone getting confused about the joint statement. I hadn't heard it anywhere else.
A lot of clubs don't really advertise movements.
Best are Triabunna and Campbell Town. Best to check out their FB pages.
George Burbury has been the only official big name move atm, if you take into account clearances.
Kempton festival was last Sunday.
So despite Woodsdale's bitching on FB, that is the reason it was in poor condition.
Will be fine come the season proper
Have had it suggested to me that Campbell Town can stop them.
I am doubtful after the Grant signing, and not having seen any huge new additions up North.
The problem from my POV, was always how it was discussed.
When it was raised a decade ago, it was talked about having Div 1 as Seniors, Reserves, Colts, and Div 2 as Seniors and Reserves only. Div 2 team had a valid argument that stripping away colts, took away any talent pipeline they had...
Over the 2 years? About 70% of that, but makes the Cap seem like a joke.
Not sure of the SFL, but 2 Southern Leagues have payments so high compared to caps/proposed caps, it's ridiculous
Anytime a club comes back, is never bad. Even if it is just for a couple of years.
Players didn't have to follow him away from Hobart. They are adults after all. If they left for money, that is their decision.
Seeing as the sole purpose of Kempton's resurrection is to F Woodsale.....
Woodsdale crowd is a massive cluster apparently.
Swansea are confident from all the whispers I hear.
