Preview 2024 Rd 5 Carlton vs Adelaide Saturday April 13 4:35PM (AEST) @ Marvel Stadium

Owies has kicked 33-14 since start of last season. Going at 70%. Deadeye.

Preview 2024 Rd 4 (Gather Round) Carlton vs Fremantle Saturday April 6 - 4.20PM (AEDT) @ Adelaide Oval - Team stickied

Moore and Stewart are much more mobile than Weitering - which enables them to create on offence and have greater coverage on defence. Weiters unfortunately does not have that speed.

    Preview Rnd 3 - Carlton v North Friday 29th March 4.20PM @ Marvel - Team Stickied

Marchbank can do this, is a better interceptor and isn't prone to 2-3 costly howlers a game (which Kemp has done in the last 3 games he has played). I would be surprised if it's not both Young and Kemp out (unless Kemp goes forward).

Roast I'm sick and tired of losing

I know how hard it is. Trust me - being a near 30s Carlton supporter, I get it. But as an outsider looking in, I can see it with North. I can see the success coming. You have the top end talent now. You have the coach. You have the culture. Keep the faith and you will get there. I don't see it...

Autopsy 2024 Round 1 Blues hold on in yet another heartstopper

Interesting views - I thought our pressure outside the contest was outstanding and the tackling was strong. Pressure rating and tackling statistics were all significantly in our favour and kept us in the fight. What almost cost us the game was the clearance and inside contest, as well as...

Autopsy 2024 Round 1 Blues hold on in yet another heartstopper

Disagree - was directly responsible for 3-4 goals with poor positioning and missed tackling. Straight out for Weiters.

Autopsy 2024 Round 1 Blues hold on in yet another heartstopper

Yep.. his composure was great last season. Luckily we walked away with a lesson + the 4 points.

Autopsy 2024 Round 1 Blues hold on in yet another heartstopper

Have seen a ton of commentary on socials/bigfooty from opposition about our 'wins'. These people can dress it however it pleases to help them feel better. These are the facts: We are 2-0 after two brutal games missing 6/7 best 22 players. We now have 15 days off. Marchbank, Weitering, Motlop...

    Preview Rnd 1 - Carlton v Richmond Thursday 14th March 7.30PM @ MCG - Team Stickied

Agree - but with Doch and Walsh (potentially long-term) out, we can't afford to lose anyone else and the season has just begun.

List Mgmt. 2024 List Management 📃

Owies kicked more goals than a number of the names you listed, and from only 17 games (including 2 finals).

Like it - more speed across the ground.

Preview Round 0 - Carlton vs Brisbane Friday March 8 - 7.40PM AEDT @ The Gabba - Team Stickied

That forward mix doesn't have capacity to provide enough forward pressure IMO. Coleman and Wilmot will waltz it out of their D50 with ease. Would be very surprised if neither Owies or Durdin are not named given both are available.

Preview 2024 AFL Community Series - Carl v Melb Wed 28th Feb 6.40PM @ Ikon Park

with ball movement sure, but not leg speed. You cannot believe that Brisbane's midfield has significantly more leg speed than ours? How about Geelong's 2022 premiership midfield? Selwood, Guthrie, Atkins, and Dangerfield? Cripps, Hewett/Kennedy, Cerra, and Walsh with spurts from Williams...

Preview 2024 AFL Community Series - Carl v Melb Wed 28th Feb 6.40PM @ Ikon Park

Agree 100%. You could see it with their goal celebrations, chase-down tackling.. even Goodwin after the game was stoked giving big hugs to the boys on the bench. This win meant a lot to them - as did our win over Collingwood last pre-season (i.e., erasing mental demons). 'Football is played...

    Preview Carlton v Geelong match simulation - Thursday 22nd Feb 11.30am @ Ikon Park - Squad post #21 🏈

I agree, but also feel like much of their 'pure' entries can be attributed to our defenders falling asleep/not working hard enough/sleeping? There were maybe 5-6 occasions where their forwards had 10-15m of space. Can anyone at the ground provide an explanation? I couldn't believe how much...

Unfortunately haven't seen anything from Young that suggests he has found his 2022 confidence and decision-making. Hopefully Durdin and Marchbank are ready to go until Weiters returns..

Good trial for both.. Hoping to see two things from Young: competitiveness and confidence with ball-in-hand.
