Just had a look and clearances are available as an XLS file from the Club Hub, not as handy as the previous online version but at least the information is available if you don't mind jumping through hoops. Haven't had a look at how EDFL have set up but they now also have the info available Post...
Hi guys
Sorry but last year's is the best we can do. Apparently playhq is not set up to show clearances generally. Clubs can see them but not the punters. Other leagues are finding the same thing.
Post from EDFL
Won't give my thoughts on the move to playhq but it's refreshing to know the...
I see EDFL have got their 2022 fixture out https://essendondfl.com.au/2022-edfl-senior-mens-football-fixtures/ , any hint of WRFL fixture coming out soon?
Well the AFL has released the vaccination policy for VFL, VFLW and NAB leagues. Double vaccinations all round.

Community football is left up to state health guidelines, ie no definitive...
Now that the AFL has decided that all players, staff, etc need to be double vaccinated, how do you think the VFL will go? Aligned clubs will need to be vaccinated, at least the players on the AFL list. Does this mean players that also play community football will have to be vaccinated? Does this...
From the current restrictions (spectators are still not allowed):-
Vic sport/health guidelines

Outdoor physical recreation and sporting facilities such as swimming pools and leisure centres are open.
If these facilities are used for community sport (organised competitive sports with...
Now that the AFL has decided that all players, staff, etc need to be double vaccinated, what do you think will happen now with metro and country leagues? Will they all have to follow the same path?

Yes I'm not a big fan of these changes. I don't know about time lost at stoppages though. My reading of it is they are trying to cut down on overall congestion so it's more like netball where they expect those three defenders and forwards at each end to stay in their 50s. Not sure on what...
What are people's thoughts on the new rules ( 3 players from both teams to be in the 50 for ALL stoppages, limited lateral movement for player on the mark and kick out from 15 metres as opposed to 10 now) being trialled in the VFL replacement league and to be implemented in 2022...
Here's a report on what the AFL has planned for VFL next year, 'lab rat' for the AFL. Rule changes, three players from both sides in the 50 for ALL stoppages, player on mark only allowed 'minimal' lateral movement and kick out 15 metres out rather than 10. Thoughts anyone? Should the VFL be used...
Hi
You probably already know this but the new threads are being added to an old index and duplicating thread numbers. Example is from EDFL sub forum.

I think some of the stand alone clubs would be very wary of any affiliations, seeing they worked so well in the past!!! Should we be looking at a similar rule to the 10-12 rule that limited only 10 AFL listed players per VFL selected side?
Here's the story and it's not hiding behind some American's paywall .....

It's not that simple, they're produced overseas and are legal to sell and buy in Australia. It's just illegal on an AFL field. It is also legal to buy a double barrelled shotgun ( with paperwork) but I'm pretty sure it's not legal to take it onto an AFL field 🙂. It's just a rule that's failed in...
Retailer . It's a soccer thing but I've seen refs check players' boots before a game. It's also a penalty to tackle 'studs leading'. Easily available through eBay and Amazon. Rebel sports sells them as well. If it's been illegal since the sixties ( I remember my first ankle boots) why was Sydney...
From the football (soccer) Victoria page, it's all over Red Rover at least for the six weeks initially. https://www.footballvictoria.com.au/news/update-following-stage-3-lockdown-across-parts-victoria

The Permit system is out. Interesting that original clubs can block a permit if the player owes money or has club property. Does this mean that sign ons need to be repaid/reimbursed by gaining club?
From the VAFA board -
"AFL have sent all leagues an update. Dates for contact training and games have now been withdrawn and further announcements will be made in July (no date given). Juniors to proceed as originally directed, however, no contact nor intra club games at this stage "
