Curious to know:
With our 7 new draftees, how long are all their contracts? (1 or 2 year deals maybe... how much?)
Obviously Blakey will play, but is it safe to say maybe only a couple of these guys will ever make our best 22?
Interested to know what you guys think will likely happen
No issues with de-listing Marsh and Robinson... two players who were good enough to be depth players, but nothing beyond that. So i can understand why they decided to let them go, the club obviously didn't see them getting better than that of a depth player...
BUT
WHY THE F*CK DID HORSE KEEP...
Thurlow is big;
Has an AFL body that's clearly ready for gametime.
Given he's already played some games and has shown potential, not a bad trade considering we gave up a cookie and bag of chips.
Hawks get Wingard,
Power get Burton, #15, #5 and Sam Mayes
Lions get #35, #6 and a future 3rd Plus some other minor pick swaps
the heck?
Trade makes no sense; Power clearly win this.
Very true, I guess it was more the 2-year trade ban that affected it.
But also 9.8% is not bad... Assuming you're on 500k, you do get a little extra. But
Stop hosing down healthy debate/chat.
Trade periods almost over and we're discussing our ruck and previous players; It's all relevant to this discussion and the moves we need to make to get better.
Also kicked 44 goals in 2015.
2014 also strong, kicked 34 goals playing in a forward line with Goodes and Bud. The forward line of those 3 was bloody good to watch!
Hahahahaa what?
Chief, we're talking about 2017!
In the 2016 granny, half our team didn't show up and weren't 'worthy of any highlights reel'... we also got f**cked over in the free-kick count 20-8.
He was playing as our main ruck-man, so of course his disposals would be low... Sinclair was playing mostly forward and Tippett was left in the ruck.
He came back and literally did his job, he had injuries all year. He wasn't picked coz we had too many talls and Horse felt Naismith would be a...
This hate on tippet really sh*ts me.
Yes, at the start of the 2017 season he struggled, but that was due to injury. The moment he came back into the side later in the year he was on fire! He dominated against Adelaide (In Adelaide; Who we ended up beating and all knew how great they were in...
Link to a good chat with Bud - Doesn't care about his individual achievements, only wants team success and specifically to win a premiership

Turning down 1.2mill is not a big enough alarm bell for you bud? smh...
Every play we've gone for has said no. Moore, Vandemberg and now Langdon. Surprised if we didn't explore Shiel/Gaff as well... Obviously had no luck. Cleary players aren't interested in us which goes beyond everything we...
We actually suck... clearly issues at the club.
Vandemberg, Darcy Moore and now Tom Langdon. All slightly better than average player who likely took less to not play with us.
I dare you to tweet all of that to him hahaha... He went ballistic a few weeks back when Luke Parker shut down all the rumours. He went mental and started spraying the Swans and all their fans.
But when a player wants to leave your club, the club looses a lot of leverage and we often see they succumb to the pressure of trading before you lose someone for nothing.
I just think considering Wingard wants to leave, if you're Port, you can't complain with that offer.
From all reports we've offered him the most out of Collingwood, Freo and us, apparently we've tabled a 5-year deal... but geez, 700k is way too much. Wouldn't go any more than 600.
