I think games played really, majority of players don't even get to 100 games let alone 150, 200 ect.....
So many greats of the game never won a premiership, or a Brownlow or a Norm Smith, Coleman ect..... but their legacy is not less because of missing out to anyone with the exception of the...

list clogger or at best depth player.... SPS was just rated too highly by Carlton when drafted and has never come close to living up to the level that was expected of him.
Gary Ablett Snr - 89 hands down the best finals series ever, it is criminal to have anyone above Ablett Snr for what he did in the 89 finals ..... 27 goals in four games including 9 in a losing GF .... was just an absolute monster and his best .....
I like Yeo back at HB
I'd swap Duggan and Hunt as we need Hunts run and ball carry from half back to speed up our play.
This centre line needs pace with skills or a ball magnet bull with quick and accurate hands. Gaff, if he is a receiver is ok, but if is coal facing it he might as well be in...
Mathews is wrong..... Dusty as a mid forward better kick another 600 goals in 60 odd games to get to that level and Lethal never averaged more than 27 touches a game in his entire career as a mid / forward ... There is a reason Lethal was named player of the century, hell even the AFLPA MVP is...
I think Ablett would dominate in any era .... he kicked around 600 goals from the wing before he moved to a full time forward role.... 600 goas from the wing and the guy still only played 248 games. If anything Lethal and Ablett would have been suspended for half their careers by todays...
Sporadic brilliance still gets votes over the length of his career....... I just think his constancy in the regular season is not as good as the others, ill concede on Fyfe though, his finals consistency is well above the others hence one Brownlow and 3 Norms .
GAJ - 262 Votes Ranked 1st - 2...
No......With the exception of his Brownlow year his regular season form has been sporadic , he is no doubt a September specialist and is in the argument for finals GOAT , Ablett and Judd and to a lesser extent Fyfe and Danger still sit above him in this Gen of players.
The addition of Dunkley and Gunton cannot be understated. that is at least 50 goals right there and a ready made rookie who will only get better. I think their list additions will add more that Richmond's.... but like so many times in the past ......I'm probably wrong :-)
True that, North are better off without the distraction. In saying that, I was astounded north drafted him in he first place. There was a reason Adelaide put that massive offer on the table before get got taken by North, EVERYONE except maybe North knew he would not stay in Melbourne .
Cousins at his best was a sight to behold. He set the precedent for the modern hard running midfielder with skill. While others around him cramped up and needed the bench , he just puked his ring out and kept running.
True, however that is marginally offset by the fact there is a national draft. Registered players would grow if there is a hometown team to play for. Start with Tassie first though, and see how that pans out.
Bunbury would make sense , there are direct interstate flights to and from Busselton airport now (1hr drive from Bunbury) and outside of Perth, the region is the most populated area in WA .... Melbourne is the hub of AFL , WA has two sides, NSW has two sides and Qld has two sides. They all...
