I should've learnt by now to get my facts from BF and not read Sliding Doors...

Or ignore if this was part of a joke / banter.
There may have been a third party that sounded him out...and got him working on things. He did say that he didn't actually sign off until yesterday morning and that they were still working things out on Sunday.
I still feel for Ratts and I guess the payers may well still be a bit shell shocked...
I'd not thought of Harvey being a forward coach...but to me it does actually make some sense, he knows what the midfield are looking for and what the forwards need to do to be seen!
Yep...agree, always hoped with Richo and Ratts, but this feels much more exciting!
At least now there won't be a need for mid season player accountability pow wows!
"Lyon’s expected appointment has the backing of former club stars whom he coached, including Ross Lyon, Brendon Goddard and Leigh Montagna. Jason Blake, another former player, now sits on the board."
So...he's backed himself!
Hang in there...hopefully it will be worth it!
He was able to analyse the game once and come up with a plan...personally I don't see why he can't do that again. If nothing else, we will have standards - so players won't need mid season meetings to discuss the lack of 'player accountability'...
In the Footy Classified episode where RTB spoke about knocking back the Essendon job, Caro said that people high up in the AFL wanted RTB to coach again....may be we might be looked on more favorably! Can always hope...
I have no idea (about most things in life frankly), but I wonder if there'd be any chance of getting Longmire...he's only got one year left on his current contract. Pretty sure he was favorite before Lyon was appointed.
They did say (in the presser today) that at the start of the year they'd told Brett they'd talk at the half way point, at 8-3 it would be hard not to offer him an extension...not sure what else they could've done at the time.
Don't know how it worked...but there was a panel....

I agree George, life isn’t like the movies! And in reality, the only comparison we really have at this stage is the one from Carlton...which I just watched (it did have a clip about Bytel at the start...something about the Draft Journey...:thumbsu:) and I have absolutely no issues with the way...
This is from AFL website on the 5th...it was an article about the 2019 potential recruits training with various clubs...
St Kilda: Bigoa Nyuon, Hayden Young, Sam Flanders
There were some very positive articles about Biggy on the Saints website (in September I think...mentioned the Academy) but...
Absolutely agree 100%! Hope they continue (which I’m sure they will) as it is making the off season just a little more bearable...and certainly building a very positive vibe about the club...
So in the off season...Jarryn got married to his long time girl friend Emma...took place in Portugal on the 13th of October...congratulations to them both! :thumbsu:
A few of the lads were there to witness the event...
