To be fair we are only 1 game and 2 games for some into the season. I think the top 4 teams will be very even. And going by what I heard about Craigeburn, they were pretty impressive after quarter time against Hillside. They might not be too far behind.

Where are Norths goals coming from this year? Daw, Baddeley-Kelly and Hogan are gone. That’s over 100 goals out the door. And is Chircop playing? That another 40 goals. I think they have enough quality through the middle, but scoring is going to be an issue against the better teams.

Had a look at Whittlesea last week. They are going to be very very hard to beat again. I do hope if they go back up they can recruit and give Div 1 a crack. And hopefully there kids coming through can develop into Div 1 players. Pretty amazing they played with the minimum points (22).

At this stage it looks like 4 teams and then the rest and it’s a big Margain to 5th. Not sure if Craigeburn were missing many players, but if they get injuries it’s a worry. Tullamarine and Moonee Valley are the unknown. The I can’t see the rest threatening for that 5th spot. How will Oak...

Yeh I tend to agree. They have improved there list. Macleod, West and Eltham will be bottom 3. I think Greensborough, Bundoora and Banyule will fight for that that 5th spot. But I’ll take Banyule. Bundoora have lost way too much and I don’t think Greensy have the quality.

Looks like a very open 2024 coming. I can’t go past Whittlesea, as they just seem to do it every few years. South Morang look to have recruited very well and wouldn’t surprise me if they play off in a Grand Final.

Epping by plenty. Greensborough is a watch for me. They are a side I don’t no what they are going to give this year. Only picking them because I’m not sure Eltham have got enough quality. But wouldn’t surprise me if they won. EPPING GREENSBOROUGH

Can Roxburgh park cause an upset and knock off Craigeburn this week?

Do you think they are in a relegation battle or will avoid that?

Realistically they should be able to do it easily. They should be not even close to the salary cap. Half there team should be on $50 or less. And is Marshalls injury worse then first thought? Hearing back end of the year and still may not be 100% right.

South Morang will make the top 3 easily for me. No reason they can’t win it actually.

Probably a silly question. But with players playing in the NT every year and I presume they need a clearance. Is there a loophole for players that don’t want to go back to there original club. Can there NT club just clear them to whenever they want to go? I know it would be poor by the NT club...
