Fantastic article by Riley Beveridge this morning that highlights exactly what we’ve all been seeing in the midfield. The drop off has been so drastic and need to be fixed ASAP if we are to be any chance of winning games.

Christ almighty there are a few over-reactions going on in here.
I’m only just reading this thread now and you’d think we’d just been beaten by 10 goals by Essendon again like rd 1 last year.
Anyone with any sense knows we should have won that game. We kicked at 39% accuracy for goal and...
Yeah it’s quite hard to watch and take notes at the same time so there is definitely stuff that gets missed in the notes.
Mass didn’t do anything spectacular, probably why he wasn’t mentioned much. But he just gets involved a lot and and is really tidy with a great kick on him. Amon is similar...
Structurally, Blanck is so important for us. With the addition of Chol up forward, I’d almost go as far as to say he is THE most important structural player now.
I’ve liked his development so far, hopefully he can continue and start to win more aerial contests rather than just halving them.
The other thing that nobody seems to be considering is that Sammy clearly had a list strategy that involved removing Titch. Perhaps the feedback was intended to make him feel this way to make it easier to trade him at the end of the season.
Sam Mitchell is a very smart man, the way feedback is...
Great win! Really impressed to be able to back it up after last week.
Make no mistake, this game was won on pure workrate. We outran, outhunted, outchased and outspread the Dogs all day.
In a couple of years no team will be able to run with us. We have so many elite runners on the list and...
Freo wanted a second rounder for Meek so I’d be interested to see how they value Jaeger. A top 5 pick seems reasonable on their valuations.
Freo aren’t who we want to deal with, GWS are the ones.
I have been of this opinion for a couple of years now and I think most other Hawks fans are starting to come around now too. We must trade Tom Mitchell this off-season. It’s almost irrelevant what pick we get in return. He doesn’t have a position in this side with Newcombe, Moore, Ward and even...
I should also add that I was incredibly impressed with the mindset of the team. There were about 4 or 5 times in the game where Port got on top and scored successive goals but every time the boys just held there nerve and answered with 2-3 goals of our own. They refused to go back into their...
I'm very impressed with the way the boys are executing Sam's game plan so early, I thought it would take 5-10 games to start seeing results so full credit to the players and coaching staff for the wonderful start to the season.
For anyone who hasn't already watched it, Ken Hinkley's post-game...
Hawks Intra-club
I got down to training this morning to catch the intra-club as I had the day off. This is just what I saw, it’s hard to watch and keep notes of everything. Hopefully everyone enjoys it:
The rain cleared just as the boys hit the track for some drills to warm up. After the...
I never got around to writing anything after the open training session on Saturday so I thought I’d just make a few comments before we hopefully get some reports from the intraclub tomorrow.
I guess it should be expected from professional athletes but all the boys looked in absolutely ripping...
Intra-club match this Tuesday apparently. No idea what time though so if anyone else has any more info that’d be great so that some folks on here can get down for a look!
I definitely see Bramble as a winger not a HBF.
He is literally a prototype wingman, if you could build a wingman from scratch you would get Bramble. Elite tank, elite speed, elite agility, great awareness in traffic and beautiful foot skills.
Plus, as others have mentioned, we have so many...
