Didn't have to look far, this classy little gem on Monday was not only tolerated but got a few likes. If you want to see classic injury trolling go back and read the Gaff / Brayshaw thread. It's on... you know, the Eagles board where you should be.
Hey all, thanks for your great efforts in bringing the news to those of us who aren't able to get down to training. It was always my favourite time of year, especially in the old days at Freo Oval.
I know it's easy to get carried away when we're only seeing our own, but I have a sneaky feeling...
I asked my tattooist to put Flagmantle in a very private place. Unfortunately he ran out of space and could only fit FLAGMAN, who says size doesn't matter???
At least now I guess I can get a job working on the railway. :(
OK, so let's say Fyfe was only on $500k, not a million. Are you saying that would allow us to keep all those players? Are we such bad list managers that we lose 4 or 5 best 22 players for the want of $500k?
Or are you suggesting we should just send Fyfe on his way because he's had a couple of...
I think you'll find that kind of player invariably has good skills on either side of their body (Sam Mitchell, Caleb Daniels, Liam Baker all come to mind). Mitch is very much a one-sided left footer which means he is so much easier to corral or catch.
Good little player, but doubt he'll ever...
Difficult one. Tabs looked a fair way off it in the Peel game, but was on managed minutes and probably not going at 100% considering the score and the injury risk. Tracey looked pretty good and Sturt was very good in the first half.
However, I think Tabs has the experience and the size to...
I certainly remember meima was very big on him. He also wanted us to get Liam Ryan (years before he was picked up), Liam Baker and Aaron Naughton.
He was a very good judge of potential was young meima.
Pretty poor take IMO Joao.
I watched Sturt's early games for Peel and his first two concussions were from a skinny kid throwing himself into packs Jonathan Brown style. Has since had a shocking run with injury, such that he hasn't had the preparation needed to produce his best. Did he really...
There were a lot on here sprouting exactly the same kind of nonsense about Mundy and Walters needing to be canned at various times this year. Talk about premature ejection.
Fyfe will play no meaningful part in this year's finals, but a full pre season and he will be a weapon again next year...
Am I missing something? If Lobb and Meek both go, what are our ruck options? Darcy and Jackson, and if one or both of them goes down we ruck what, Logue and Treacy?
I think we have been seduced by this years' injury list into forgetting we need solid backup for everyone.
Meek stays.
Nice! I'm just roasting a batch of Cost Rica Miel coffee, you can't start the day without a good home brew coffee. Then you finish it with a good craft beer. :thumbsu:
Sorry mate, didn't see this. Friday night was spent looking at videos of a Lagoon catamaran for sale in Fiji and trying yo convince ourselves it would be stupid to buy it.
The jury is out :)
