Only saw the last quarter and a bit, thought Livingstone has quite a bit to work with. Hall looks quality, John stone a smooth mover. Nice to see the youth contributing well.
positive: the AFL has a plan to help out the worst performing team of 2023.
Negative: the AFL didn’t realise the Kangaroos weren’t the worst performing team, notwithstanding the Eagles finishing bottom and being part way through the down swing
Part of Jetta’s mastery was his ability to run, evade and time the pulling of the trigger just perfectly.
The closest I get to that level of excitement from the current team (Harley aside) is watching Jones’ run and dash, you just have to hold your breath on the disposal and whether he has any...
What have you been doing with your glutes that enables you to fit a skull between them to enable crushing? Whatever it i, that is some seriously ****ed up gym work.
Feels like my time to head over to the Brisbane board and death ride them through their rebuild is near. Oh, I mean provide them with my draft nuffy analysis.
Hai boiz, let’s not get into dick measuring contests here. But holy s**t did you see the size of Sanders’ dick. Oh yeah, and the point is he is a ball pig. Dark Sharks at his hypocritical finest.
Thinking anyone would come into our midfield structures and be a ball pig from the get go is pretty...
Inciteful reporting right there from the West. I though the club confirmed Harley’s when the trainer was stretching his calf on the ground all the while the commentary talked about him maybe having done a knee.
I am hearing Norf just started drafting its bid for compensation picks due to losing Thomas. Asking for Pick 1 or two additional picks straight after its first round pick this year. AFL considering providing three first round picks next year as well, but may take them back if Norf go too well in...
This hits the nail on the head for me. Three quarters of a draft pool will come and go in that timeframe (ok, I made that stat up but it feels close to right), and it is clear the approach to planning covers more than just the draft.
Notwithstanding the definitive approach Briztoon takes to...
clearly they all been shagging on MRP and injuries has everything to do with the surface. Can’t believe Don hasn’t ripped the surface up yet. Sack him if he can’t take decisive action #amIdoingthisright
How many teams have had the luxury of taking multiple father sons in the first round in the same year? Only one I can think of is Brisbane. Not saying others haven’t, but you might need to work on your hyperbole or find a different audience.
I mentioned the loss of players from the expansion teams as an issue earlier in one of my posts to you. I would argue it is also an issue that needs fixing, but the AFL has been largely asleep at the wheel of this as well.
Players nominating clubs appears the problem here because you can’t stop...
Regarding F1, I started to buy into the hype of getting Curtin And would have accepted it if the club pulled it off.
i will be very interested in following how GWS’ recruits go next year, because if GWS knocked back a straight swap for our F1 (and I have no idea if that was the offer) I suspect...
There are different layers of fair.
within the rules = fair. I agree, can’t blame GC for that.
but does an unfair system = fair. I say no, the AFL is A joke of an organisation.
”your rhetoric sounds good but isn’t close to reality”.
Let's talk reality then. The reality is that the Swans, a top team at the time, had access to a number of its now best players on the cheap who were highly rated in their draft years (Isaac Heaney and Callum Mills to name a couple)...
Cry me a river.
Eight million living in NSW, exclusive rights to two teams. Not just remote or specific backgrounds, everyone. How many are eligible in the selective zones and ethnicities of the teams in the traditional footy playing states. A mere fraction is my guess, and then we have to hope...
What I believe happened is we rated all four of our picks in the top 5, so getting them all was a great result. Shame the other guy in our top 5 was gone and we had to pass.
In addition, we openly prioritised top 30 picks last year and took 2 first rounders and 2 second rounders into last years draft in the top 30. The year before we took three first and second rounders in total. And it appears we did a good job with who we targeted.
It is not just the total number...
