would love to see us look at a key forward from a state league. Watched a wafl game and Aaron Clarke from Perth looked good. 24yo 195cm key forward. Has kicked 8 goals in 3 games. Formerly from Coburg VFL. Looks like he can take a good contested grab.
I agree with what you're saying and I don't think we should trade Bolton at all, but the draft basically comes down to luck. These top kids might be talented but give them a year or two in the system and they may not have the drive to get the best of themselves or they might push themselves to...
He was never recruited to be the #1 forward taking the #1 key defender and being double teamed every week. He was meant to be the 2nd/3rd tall. Some of the carry on by people makes it sounds like he was meant to be Tom Lynch mk2.
We would probably have more inside info than other clubs if we were interested seeing as he is the cousin of Mansell. On field, he can play, we saw it first hand last year, just depends on if hes worth the risk.
after his end to 2023 and his preseason, I really though he had turned a corner. despite a couple of good things here and there, disposals of 6,16 and 12 is not good enough for a pure mid. Hes been very underwhelming.
theres quite a few, but whether they are at that the level is another story.

we should do a pick swap with the suns.
Give them - 41,49,65,68
we get - 27,66,71,74
Go to the draft with 27,29,66,71,74 (probably wont use the last couple or use them to upgrade rookies)
