Without Cogs, plenty, and I mean plenty until the salary cap.

Some news on Grant Birchall Hawthorn "very keen" to hold on https://www.triplem.com.au/story/listen-jay-clark-says-that-brisbane-want-grant-birchall-to-replace-luke-hodge-148968

    Review 14 - Grant Birchall (2019)

I've heard that the club hasn't made any guarantees, but at this stage have said to him it's likely that he will be retained if he wants to stay. Only 1 year and low $ so he may be snatched by Brisbane or Gold Coast offering a 2 year deal.

Really hope he goes around again, seems like he has so much to offer if he gets his body right.

Toast Shaun Burgoyne 200 games...and more to come in 2020!

He's touring gold coast apparently, I reckon we need a bulldozer to demolish Metricon. That'll make him stay ;)

Is RoughandLove 100% sure from accurate sources, heard an interview today when he said it was still in the balance?

Nothing selfish about that tbh... especially with the way he's playing.

List Mgmt. Should I stay or should I go now? End of season list management discussion (now continued for 2020)

Without a doubt Burgoyne and Poppy will be offered another contract. Burgoyne has aged like wine, and has flourished in a role of a utility forward or back, with occasional runs through the middle. Poppy was a shadow of his best this year, but finished decently, and I highly doubt Clarko would...

Prediction Team of century 1925 to 2024

If Burgers had played his whole career with us, he would be in... Defence is hard to replace, with Gibbo and possibly Birch as frontrunners. I know Brian Lake only was with us for 3 seasons, but if you count the years in which he thrived as a dog, he was truly great. If only Lakey and Burgoyne...

Prediction Team of century 1925 to 2024

Sam, Hodgey, Bud, Cyril and Rough would be automatic in's, if it was extended to 2024. Burgers was a star at Port already, played half his prime there, so that's a 50/50. Surely Crawf squeezes in. Think people forget how good Sewell was 2006-2012, him and Lewis probably missing the team, not by...

    Preview Round 23, 2019: West Coast Eagles v Hawthorn, 24 August 2019, 8.10pm @ Perth Stadium

Rough too cooked to play round 23, Lewis shoulder worse than expected. Unless we miraculously make finals, we won't see them feature unfortunately...

Yep, so glad to have seen Roughy's last game. Unless we make finals and some injuries in the forward line occur, we saw Rough go out in the perfect way last Sunday :) Lewis in for Rough, Scrimshaw for Cegs

I reckon it'll be a 50/50 decision with Rough playing, did amazing tonight but admittedly did receive special attention. Can he contribute against the Eagles? I think it comes down to 3 different possible factors: 1.) Whether Lewis's shoulder recovers, received a tip-off (very unreliable source...

Done the calculations. Dogs lose and generally a win by 15-17 points would get us to 8th. However, assuming we pip the eagles (not by much), we probably want a win of 50-60 to retain against a possible %boost by Port or crows the following week. (As said by Simon above) 7th place is out of...

A few of my mates are wanting to go the game now. They're not members, and they wanna buy General Admission. Is there any need to reserve tickets online for GA, or could you snag some on the day? Only asking cos with Roughy playing, the crowd will double.

    Roughy Farewell Game

Agree, footy is much too self-important these days. On a side note, saw something which disgusted me a few weeks ago, a couple of Essendon fans on twitter laying into Conor McKenna for missing their game against Gold Coast to attend his brother's funeral in Ireland.
