I’ll be keeping a close eye on the Claremont colts this year.
Here’s why (and the WA state u/18’s is packed with Claremont kids this year):
I reckon this side would challenge for a flag!
Yep. It was:
Atkins 5&4
Gus 5&2
Jeffrey 4&0
Day 3&0
Snell 3&0
Mitchell 2&0
Edwards 1&0
Graham 1&0
Fair to say Atkins & Gus were BoG.
But the rest was all over the place - which I suppose isn’t surprising in a drawn game.
Unchanged team - boring but probably fair enough.
I am, however, a bit disappointed at no Gus. I fail to see how Konstanty gets into the extended squad & Gus doesn’t - unless it’s purely a fitness / match practice thing.

He can’t kick?
I’d actually regard him as the best set-shot we have!
My view: he’s a terrific kick. It’s just he’s often forced into dump-kicks under pressure from stoppages because he doesn’t have the option of break-away speed.
He’s one of our best players & will add quality to the side on...
He’s saying he’s yet to be convinced our game style of fast ball movement through the middle of the ground doesn’t break down when the opposition applies high pressure …. as occcurs in finals.
I think it’s a reasonable reservation - until such time as we prove that what Richmond did to us was...
