Certainly pays to set the season up early, bank the wins and then be able to take a rest coming into finals. How Carlton goes between now and the round 15 return game will define where we finish and our realistic chances to go deep.

Gives us much better ball use from the back half, more depth through the midfield and some more pressure/better finishing skills up front.
With the rebound unit all in the injury ward, the midfield just took it upon themselves to win the game. Their pressure early allowed them to live with our clearance dominace by reducing the quality and rebounding it back but as soon as that pressure dipped we just made a meal of them...
We brought suffocating pressure to blow the game apart early in the final term and did so but then didn't back it up, feel like they are just coasting through games content on staying in the contest rather then trying to win it and it finally bit them on the arse. Need to start to taking these...
Caught in the mode of just doing enough, coasting all game to stay in it and then turned up the pressure and intensity early in the last to secure a match winning break only to miss a couple of chances and let off enough for a couple of cheap ones to swing the result away.
Got into some bad...
it was fair but there was a near indentical one not called not 2mins prior in the middle of the ground that should have went the other way no consistancy
You mean you flodded and played chip chip keepings off so no one could score, great way to control the play for 3/4 of the game but makes it hard to put anyone away.
If your coach played a more aggressive gameplan you probably get 30+ in front with the clearance dominace early and win but you...
It touched his hair if you are lucky nothing else and it would be the 1st time in 100 years a hair flick has ever been called touched, being a cry baby for no reason and you know it.
Didn't know that, certainly much better result but he really needs to be hammering yuki to get where he wants to out of this stint a win in the race tomorrow would be to beat yuki and sneak that p10 spot
Because we got an irrelevant 2nd goal after kicking the match winner? Surely you aren't protesting a hair being moved as a ball being called touched?
If we take out the 2nd goal which cost 20sec on the clock, there was a carlton mark as the siren went. That means freo would have needed to take...
I hated all bar 1 minute of that entire game but that 1 minute made up for it.
Midfield needs to find another gear but we keep finding a way and thats all that really matters right now.
No if you changed that they would knock it out and play would continue rather then everyone trying to pin it to him plus it rewards cheating you aren't trying to win the ball you are staging for a free kick at that point
I am all for if you drag it under its a free kick if you don't get it out, but its the worst thing about our game when a defender holds the ball while tackling someone and it should cancel it out in the same way if you duck into a tackle its not high free kick.
Irrelevant to the decision in...
Dont even think we played 5mins of good football that entire game, freo's keepings off crap gameplan and inability to score without the umpires kept us in it and it cost them the game.
which should be irrelevant when the opposition player grabs the ball and hold its under themselves at that point its holding the man free the other way
