I’m convinced those things are disposal heat maps and not gps running heat maps. If they were legit heat maps every player would have a heat spot right before the bench.
I thought that if the non controlling ump pays a free kick, teams aren’t allowed to take advantage? Guess that rule has been scrapped or it wasn’t applicable for yesterdays game?
Oh really? They were? And then they played their best football when put into a position on the ground where they were best able to utilised their strengths. Brown doesn’t, and probably never will have the tank to play on a wing at AFL level, his best position will be in the back half of the...
our transition defence needs a fair bit of work, has been pretty average seeing live the last two weeks.
Also, today I thought our tackling was rubbish, too many soft attempts, and not enough intent to lay some hurt.
Why do they even bother asking the AFL for explanation on these things? They pretty much always back the umpires decision no matter what. That’s why umpiring is so trash, because they’re always right according to their bosses.
How bout Selwood as well, he should pick it up and get tackled? Well...
he’s spot on with the advantage rule, makes zero sense. Carlton got a free kick for a shot on goal, Blues player picks it up and handballs to a team mate after the whistle but the ball is called back. Baker just boots the ball right after the whistle and its advantage. Surely it’s not that hard...
Grimes one was not 50, pathetic decision made by a pathetic umpire who basically tells Grimes to get up for staging and then rewards a GC bloke who takes a massive dive.
Probably too little too late, if we turned up with that intensity we most likely win this, unfortunately we let them run their own race in the first half.
Apparently DC job was down to Desai and the current Ravens DC. Would’ve been interesting to see how the defence would have been with him in charge. Ravens defence is obviously performing pretty well, but they’re defensive talent is more evenly spread than this group.
