The players are going to be feeling it, too. It’s a concern. Momentum is a very strange and fragile thing, like a nice wave you’re sure is about to deliver you the perfect right hander but peters out just as you start paddling.
If this game was played five days ago we are shaking off our 55...
Quite a few as it turns out, including Jack Steele, Tim Kelly and Josh Dunkley, plus plenty of quality players in that pick 22 - 26 range, including Cam Guthrie, Jack Darling and a bunch of others. Lots.
Recruiters have really upped their batting average over the past decade, which means 6 &...
Carlton fans are crazy for thinking otherwise. How many pick 24s work out?

Farkin A! You’d think the bloke had survived cancer, lost his family in a house fire, had his life savings stolen by Russian hackers and been wrongly imprisoned for murder by the way the footy media carries on.
No-one deserves to play in two losing GF’s at two different clubs more. Can’t wait.
Was only a matter of time before this genie got out of the bottle. Idiots on the extreme flanks of the political spectrum created this. Self-entitled, arrogant, Waleed Aly-quoting “one rule for me another for thee” Lefties and the insanely ignorant, tinfoil-hat-wearing, covid-denying Righties...
Bulldogs supporters’ fear of Steven May is palpable. It’s giving away their big unspoken worry - they’re not confident their forward six can get the job done on the day.
Not confident at all.
Righto it’s Tuesday morning of GF week and my MFCSS has finally kicked in. I’m officially worried about the extra week off and only having played one competitive game in 28 days.
Don’t like it. Don’t like it at all.
Two GF selection questions:
1. Pig Hibberd or Joel Smith (if fit) ?
2. Hunt or Jordon as medi-sub?
Probably go in unchanged but worth asking the questions.
It’s certainly a slightly overrated award but let’s not kid ourselves we would’ve been over the moon had Clarry won it. Congratulations to the freakish mop-haired ranga for coming in third and polling a staggering 31 votes. Sensational effort and brilliant season (so far). Let’s hope he blitzes...
Clarry never seriously in it sharing the spoils with Tracc and Gawn polling a few 3’s.
Who cares. Put a line through it and move on to what matters. The silverware 🏆 Glad none of our players feel extra spotlight/pressure from a Brownlow win.
Might sound weird but I’d prefer Tracc and/or Clarry don’t win it this year. Just want 100% pure laser focus on the Cup.
Like Janes Hetfield says - nothing else matters.
Whaaaat??
You’d struggle to come up with a listed AFL player over 195cm who is more afraid of being physical and going hard in the air than Weideman. He is totally lacking in these key areas.
Paul Roos did the same thing with us in 2013. Said no and rules himself out several times then experienced CE0 Peter Jackson came on board. Few weeks later wouldn’t you know it Roosy’s had a change of heart and signs on. Looks to be a very similar scenario here at Carlton.
Just cannot see you...
