Essendon and Adelaide has always been problematic, see this match. But you’re all quite correct in suggesting a yellow-based guernsey would be best when the Crows play away to Essendon, Melbourne, St Kilda and Fremantle. These matches may only happen twice a year but it’s not without precedent...

The most annoying clashes in rugby league are when alternates are available, but unworn. Western Suburbs also did this in their final away game in the NRL in R24 1999. Had a white jersey that year but couldn’t be arsed to bring it.
