Maynard chose to bump instead of use his hands to cushion the contact with Brayshaw's head so he's guilty in my eyes. Even if he's not, they need to introduce a second suspension category where guilt doesn't need to be proven, only impact - in which case a player can be suspended but still...
You heard it here first... Dimma will never get the Suns into the finals, even if he's still in charge in six years' time and not sacked or the club merging or becoming defunct.
Only because we've probably let Reid slip through our fingers. You should go view the flame war in our forums - goodness knows, a Freo fan needs something to brighten up their otherwise awful existence. ;)
Assuming we don't withstand the fury of a Crows side wronged next weekend, North are a good chance to beat the Suns at home and hand us the spoon. And assuming the Giants get their arses handed to them in Melb by the rampaging Blues, the Dogs are a good chance to beat the Cats and make the finals.
You're assuming Port hang on for Top 4.
Given that a win on Saturday jeopardises our chances of getting Reid, if the Dorkers have a shock loss, can we accuse them of tanking?
If I was an idiot who likes to habitually throw their money away (i.e. a punter), I would have put money on the Poms when they drifted out to $5 before our collapse.
The bookmakers now have us as warm favourites to win the match. Are they smoking crack or something? We've still got a lot of work to do before even being considered marginal favourites. Would love to shove it right up 'em, especially that twatburger Broad, with an unlikely win though.
We really need to bat the whole day. Normally for the team batting second, you need a 50+ run innings lead to 'really' be in front but I feel we are going to need a score of 400+ to win this one.
I was hoping we'd bat - it's the higher percentage play and also because I won't get to watch us take early wickets because the ******* campaignerED rugby is on instead. (Yes, I'm too cheap to pay for Fox Sports, et al.)
That one of Tears Morgan is hilarious.
Even if we flog their arses off in this Test, they will still say they should have won the series 4-1...
1st Test: "If we didn't declare on Day 1 we would have won"
2nd Test: "If Bairstow wasn't stumped we would have won"
3rd Test: "If we...
The Poms aren't great with the English language. Firstly, Tears Morgan doesn't seem to understand what a pyrrhic victory is, and now Brook doesn't appear to know what a moral victory actually is. I mean s**t, at least google these terms before you use them ya drongos!
Stokes is so far up his own arse. Surely he could admit that even a declaration 20 overs earlier would have probably reaped them a couple of extra wickets, given how demoralised we were, and then a much better chance to take the last four in 30 overs the next day.
