Haha it was suppose to come across as a follow up to your post, man... I only went looking for stories because I saw your post!
Internet and context, eh?

Surely, SURELY, we couldn't get this lucky?
Oh, for sure. Just didn't know whether people genuinely thought Portugal would top the group or weren't sure about sides of the draw.
Going through the groups/16/quarters etc and have come up with Brazil v Germany and Spain v Argentina in the semis :thumbsu:
There will be an upset along the...
Not having a crack at anyone but the only way Germany plays Brazil in the final is if one of them doesn't top their group. Otherwise, they're on the same side of the draw.
More I think about it, the more I feel like Spain has flown under the radar. Still got the nucleus of their dominant sides intact and added in-form up and comers. They'll be very, very hard to beat.
WINNERS: Germany
FINALISTS: Argentina
AUSTRALIA WILL... have a crack but be totally outclassed.
GOLDEN BOOT: Messi. Argentina has a soft group and he's the best player in the world.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Germany to thump Brazil 4-0 in the semi-final.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: I want him to fire but...
Something like...
Casillas
Azpilicueta/Juanfran - Ramos - Pique - Alba
Busquets
Alonso - Xavi
Pedro - Iniesta
Costa
Mata/Silva may start in place of Pedro...
I'd say RB and who partners Iniesta in attacking midfield/wings the only spots up for grabs... Fabregas may start somewhere, purely...
MVP - KD
DPOY - Roy Hibbert
Rookie - Trey Burke
Sixth man - Danny Granger
Most improved player - Paul George to make NBA first team and be considered one of the best five players in the 'A
Most improved team - Detroit.
CHAMPS - OKC
West - OKC def Houston
East - Indiana def Miami
Scoring champ -...
Genuinely excited about what we've done. Can't remember being this optimistic about our list in a long, long time. Not since Roo, Kosi, Dal, Bally, Goose, Joey etc. were drafted.
I'm tipping the answer is no but is there any, teeny, tiny bit of hope somebody will take Amare off our hands? It would change the whole landscape if we could shed his contract. Or, better still, he actually stays fit and plays well. What's more likely? (both at long odds, I know)
Where to now? I reckon I spend a couple of hours each day searching trade rumours/ridiculous Amare options... Surely have to try something? There's no way we finish ahead of Brooklyn/Indiana/Chicago and Miami next season with the roster in its current shape... I know we could debate this until...
Boys, longtime, no post. San Fran. Where is good to head out? New York, too. Landed in San Fran a couple of hours ago after a few days in LA. Amazing place, America.
Re: Koby Stevens
exactly why I reckon Melbourne will be doing everything it can to get him.
has all the qualities the Demons' peaheart youngsters lack.
Koby Stevens
left out of West Coast's side again.
No 'official' mail but will leave at the end of the year, I'm certain of it.
won't be asking for big money, simply opportunity.
should make a play for him.
has the potential to be an AFL star and why he's being left to rot in W/C's...
to be fair, the O&M is hardly "bush footy" as you'd traditionally picture it.
Club's are considered semi-professional, train a few nights a week, do recovery etc. etc.
Only a step or two below state league level, really.
first Fevola, now Barry Hall.
Ovens and Murray really flexing its muscle as a competition this year.
