I think that’s a reasonable assumption. At Sunday 5pm it wasn’t know to the general public that she was missing. Because he was unable to get any information from the news, I imagined he turned on the phone to see if people had missed her. Had people being sending texts and ringing her phone?

Op found items of interest and handed into police so is theorising. Or at least that’s how I read it.

Could be because it was used as a weapon or could be because they suspect her body was transported in it.

100%. I do try and be mindful of that and make it clear that I don’t know the person or the facts of the case and that there’s a difference between suspecting someone to accusing someone. But even now there are people online still convinced the husband did it, so there’s always that element.

I agree. 5 weeks is very quick for an arrest. Especially if it’s indeed a stranger on stranger crime. I’m guessing the accused hasn’t been that clever.
