Painfully reminds me of the way the Brisbane Lions AFLW team used the image of the “petrol container” to find something when they had nothing left to give. They needed this as they realised previous efforts were not enough.
However, they were perennial Grand Finalists. We are the opposite...
Not sure if it has been referenced before but that crowd of 30,000 is quite phenomenal given both teams were winless. More than saints v dogs.
Go figure.
Doubt you are reading this Sonja but wanted you to know that I 💙 🤍 you.
Thanks for all you do & the grace, intelligence & passion with which you do it.
Yet for all the talk of awful culture, simultaneously we have had the sheer joy of watching our AFLW team develop into genuine contenders.

No wonder so many of us went from elation to devastation.
It always hurts more when you experience the high before the fall. The high was through the roof so the fall felt catastrophic.

Thanks H2H for bringing this presser to our attention. Emma is elite & smart. We are so lucky to have Emma as the foundation upon which we are building our club back to success.
A sea of loud, proud & passionate ardent Shinboners. The nature of the stadium means it was wall to wall raucous Roos. With family & club Shinboners near the players race. Even when that top deck filled, it was all blue & white.
After the last few years, it was a sight for sore eyes.
