Unfortunately you will find that they are all instructed to fly for those marks. They get marked down in review when they stay down and hope the ball comes to them. In particular I know they think the two Ollies play better on days when they fly for marks rather than stay down (we have others... -

Funny how we as supporters are so extreme. We lauded dempsey last year when he did same thing. When you have senior legend of the game next to you saying give it to me you give it. Cameron would kick that 80% of the time. Whereas Dempsey from there would be 30% I reckon -

I think they will find a way to fit both Bruhn and Knevitt in. But it is a good question as that means Atkins and Bowes come into question (and they are both good options). Probably from the weekend MOC drops out - but we have to fit in Mannagh too! Nice problems if all fit… But the point... -

Actually always have when he has been sub. Don’t want him pigeon holed in that role but he has done it well everytime where as other young players (dempsey, knevitt etc) struggled to make impact as sub…Clark looks like he has an on switch that can easily be turned on which is perfect for sub... -

Someone posted earlier the ins and outs from the preliminary and definitely we bought speed (and youth in). Think about taking out Stanley (for SDK), Bruhn (for Smith), Kolo (for COS), Duncan (for Knevitt) just to name a few and can see both foot speed and I think (other than Kolo) upgrade. I... -

Agree….i doubt it was a decision to “manage” that early but no doubt the mind just relaxes no matter how much they are told to keep intensity up. It was hot and we were 9 goals up. Just a minor slip in intensity leads to kicks that miss targets and defensive lapses and all of a sudden other... -

Agree Doesn’t sound like Mannagh and Martin are quite ready in based on CS comment a week or so ago. Looks like maybe around round 3-5 that they will be deemed fit? Especially if the team keeps winning! Beyond that it is hard to know why you would change it for others who aren’t obvious best... -

I don’t think we can underestimate mindset. Frankly I was in the crowd and I relaxed - Freo looked cooked at half time and we were playing so well. I am sure coaches and players telling themselves not to relax and keep pressure up but given how hot it was and with a 9 goal lead it is almost... -
