honestly wouldnt rush short back in at all. hes just been blasting the ball straight back to the oppo all year, we've lost absolutely nothing since hes been injured. except the odd cheeky hand off goal from fifty.
Making Kmac sub was like having a bet either way. Like they half expected HRS and Banks to stink it up and wanted the option to bring him in. They just cannot let go. Hopefully they've seen the light now.
His big issue was traditionally he got the ball and just booted it long... straight to the oppo. Can't believe it's taken this long for a coach to take him aside and tell him to cut that s**t out and pass the ball. He's a 10x better player for it.
would love to see that forward line. we just cant keep bombing it in to the hotspot it's so predictable to the interceptors who come off their men and swarm there. if you're going to bomb it in go to the pocket, every chance we'll get a boundary throw in which is miles better than a direct turn...
Ofcourse players tiring is a factor. You're saying taking the dominant inside mid on the ground out of our midfield had no bearing on the result... and he didn't give it away 15 times did he? You just pulled that stat out of your arse.
he was on the ground for 48% of the match and was our equal highest possession getter for the match with 23 disposals. when he went off they started getting first use and clean extractions from clearance. absolutely had an impact on the result.
I'd love a walk through on this call from the ump right there. Pure luck Pickett didn't gather and goal in this instance which is clearly what the umpire was hoping for.
