    They should have a traditional jumper, yellow yoke with red jumper or something (like the Melbourne jumper). The logo on the front is tacky (although I did really like the pink and black jumper they wore last year, maybe rebrand to those colours it worked for the Hart Foundation).

    Melbourne has made 3 Grand Finals in 62 years. Bulldogs the same, 3 in 72 years. Saints have made 4 since 1966. Essendon hasn't made a GF in 25 years, Carlton 27 years and neither look like making one anytime soon. Not much of an advantage if you can't make it.

    I thought they did well to get the game back on their terms after the Cats got out to an early 4 goal to 1 lead. Midway through the 3rd it was 7 goals each and the Cats were having trouble moving the ball. Blown away in the last obviously but not sure how much of that can be blamed on Clarko.

    What's the solution? Play 3 or 4 road games in a row to minimise travel? Then they'll complain (rightfully) about being away from home. It's the nature of the competition, they joined a comp based in Melbourne it's a bit rich to then complain about having to travel every other week.
