I've lived in Europe for 5 years and AFL is virtually unheard of. It's barely televised (only the GF, and only if you pay extra for Eurosport 2 or whatever it is). There is a little footy around, but it's 99% expats having a kick to kick. This is probably a bit different in the UK, but...
Anybody got any links or ideas how someone in Belgium, namely me, can see the GF online? The pubs round here refuse to open at 5:30am for me. :(
And no, I don't wanna pay $6 or $7 to watch a tiny pixelated blur.
Final option would be listening to the radio commentary, almost all radio...

Occasionally pop music can bring tears to your eyes....
Grace was hot as! The song "Triad" is interesting....kind of goes through the real life couplings of band members.... VERY honest song, but still with that mysterious Airplane sound.
White Rabbit is one of my all time favourite songs. Top stuff! Unfortunately the video copy they have on...
Pretty much yep!
But if I find out someone is a young lib or Family First flunky before I get to know anything else about them....my view is tainted somewhat. Personal experience based.
It's a real shame though when politics strains friendships.
De Niro - Da Man.
Followed by Dustin Hoffman, Johnny Depp, Al Pacino, Michael Caine, Sean Connery,
I'm also a big fan of Sam Jackson, Martin & Charlie Sheen, Michael Madsen and Steve Buscemi, but I don't know about calling them "Greatest Living Actor".
Brando would be up there if he...

Informer - Snow

Coupling is excellent. Actual funny sex humour.
The Office deserved all the praise and awards it got. Most people get it. Those that don't, go watch Fawlty Towers and see what English humour is when it comes to "oh god, I can't watch!" kind of uncomfortable-funny. And it is subtle, the...
Good choices there Lenny!
Carmina Burana is in everything! First heard it in The Doors movie.
Ode To Joy - wasn't that also in Die Hard?
Fanfare - Emmerson Lake & Palmer?
Ride of the Valkyries was also in the Blues Brothers (the flying Pinto)
My faves apart from those....

Guitar Wolf - Wild Zero!
It was on SBS last night....very cool. Zombies, Transvestite love affairs, Rock'n'Roll hero's, UFOs, motorbikes, almost Tarantino-esque.
:D Love it.
This also explains John Farnham's career. Something like 1 in 10 Aussies own that Whispering Jackoff album....but not 1 in 10 people I know.
