    Tried a game without Ryan as backup ruck. Balta couldn't win a hitout and was down 31-13 at half time. Put Nank back in ruck and was up 39-31 at 3qtr time. Ended up winning narrowly.

    Yeah the field kicking to space is a key miss at the moment. There should be skill in executing the right amount of power and aim to hit a target. Right now it just locks on and half the time completely ignores the power meter. I miss the AFL Live mechanic

    Just won 84-10 v Doggies. Was 84-2 at 3qtr time and then the difficulty swing thing kicked in and I couldn't get a run on. Won the hitouts 43-1 lol, this is the gamebreaker atm, way too much power when you win hitouts.

    Yeah but that ties into what I was saying. If we give attackers every type or flexibility then we need defensive AI to be perfect. Otherwise particularly in online play the ball will never be turned over. It's a difficult balancing act I think

Similar experience, heaps of fun, won by 2 points against the Dees in a cracking game, behind by 10 with 5 mins game time to go and kicked the last 2 which had felt no chance for a while.     I'm guessing the AI on medium does these things as a hack to make the game easier. On hardest I can't say I've ever seen the AI just leave a gettable ball.

    I thought it was more you can steer while powering up, but then at last second can change direction before release to aim the kick or handball. But that last second bit could be what he means, maybe it makes you turn around at the last second (can't remember)

    Hoping this was on easy? I tried to resume my management mode twice and had two crashes within first 2 mins of the game. Haven't had this issue in any previous version until now.

    9 days until the big one - if management mode isn't fixed in the next patch then it won't be and my time with this game will be at an end. I think gameplay is 90% fine now, so in theory they should have had time to work on management mode. Can only hope so

    Last time I played the ships were all more or less the same, with different skins. There might have been a couple of different types but other than that, wasn't any point really building up a ship from memory which kind of killed the immersion. Has this changed at all?

    They still attack in balanced, they just don't stream forward and get miles clear and score goals with ease. But yes, not ideal having an OP tactic in the menu. But I think we also need to remember that this is AFL and no one has ever got it right. I'm comfortable saying this is the best game...
