This is all very strange.
I'm putting forward the theory that Barnaby leaked to PVO originally. He made a big song and dance this week about being anti the leaks. Higgins, or the third party between them, thought hang on, this is the same "horrible" wording used by Barnaby previously. And so...
Do people prefer the economy we had from 1995-2020, where Australians zoomed ahead in living standards?
Or do people prefer the massive socialist-style government intervention economy we have now, with product shortages, rampant inflation on goods people actually buy, soaring property prices etc?
Good article from Waleed on the fake outrage to this today:

You're back on to your safe ground of the last page. We're talking about the less serious common cold being a coronavirus, and have been for a while.
Now you're saying because one orange is sweeter than another, it's not an orange. Of course they're both oranges. Of course they're both...
And, for something easily spread like a coronavirus like Covid-19 or the common cold - good idea to control that or nah? Achievable to stop it or a fool's errand long term?
And, successful? Not successful? Should be attempted again? Same sort of lockdowns in two years time to eradicate the common cold, for example? Love to hear your thoughts.
Covid-19 IS a family member of the common cold...literally a coronavirus...the people that keep brainwashing others...
It's not all about the vaccinations though - there was substantial community spread which has left people with natural antibodies, especially amongst those under 37 who haven't been vaccinated.
Well, apart from the thousand times I've discussed the higher death rate from Covid on these forums. Can't quote the posts as the threads are locked, but few examples:
Sep 13, 2020
Can you explain why action on the seasonal flu registers at one end, with a substantial mortality rate, but...
Just imagine the headline - Politician XYZ to close up society for years on end to eradicate the common cold.
You'd think they were the biggest moron on the planet. And they wouldn't be successful either.
Well, I don't think anyone in the world has said Covid is LESS severe...so what is your point here?
Any politician that tried to "eradicate" a highly infectious coronavirus like the common cold would be considered a LUNATIC...so why are we trying to do it with this coronavirus, even considering...
But we have waited and observed - the UK has practically reached herd immunity with a handful of deaths, if that, each day after their successful vaccination drive.
In 20 years time, the reaction to Covid will be a great case study in how polarised and extreme politics in the US lead to the world losing its mind:
NY Times accepts that masks were a political issue, and the politics is what is keeping some people from taking it off.
What I'm saying, and what you're saying, actually supports my position even more - in many cases the common cold, rather than the flu, is literally a coronavirus.
So, if your positioning is "wow, don't say the flu is a coronavirus, they are two different things and the flu is way less...
No trap. Just want to know. I'm perplexed as to why someone would think everyone being vaccinated who wants to be would NOT lead to borders re-opening??!!!
What on earth are you talking about - the Virgin CEO talked about a comparison with the flu specifically.
(In fact, the death rates with vaccinations would be WAY SMALLER than with the flu anyway - have you not seen the current rates in the UK for example?)...
Morrison thinks the comments by the Virgin CEO are insensitive.
So this means Morrison is now pursuing a strategy of 100% flu elimination too? Any chance the media might press him on that?
Or just another chance to lay into a female CEO?
Australians were smug last year as they saw constant story after story from the US and UK describing hell holes and war zone like conditions.
Now, the UK and US are moving on.
Australians think they are superior to all others, oh so much smarter. They can't handle this situation.
A "lightbulb moment" regarding unforeseen ill health arising from the pandemic...demand they did not expect when GP visits and screenings were missed...delayed or deferred care...health complications and comorbidities from not keeping people healthy last year...difficult to predict the future...
Oh God. I come in here to post that major scandal, and I see this at the top of the page. Unbelievable. The same old pro-forma left-wing semi-religious chanting from early last year. The world has moved on, yeah? Suicides is not the only effect of Covid restrictions, yeah?
Or do you simply...
