Carlton did good job of pressuring the ball carrier and geeling did great job of panicing under that pressure and then also under percieved pressure.
Lots of poor decision making and skills execution.
I think it is a set play and mid season it worked a few times.... selwwood/guthrie are nominated ruck and opposition don't realise and give free away (blocking them etc) or blitz goes 3rd up. I think opposition onto it now though and should be thrown out.
I am getting a
I am getting a Vasectomy before the game and more nervous for Dan than my boys.... this doc better cut quick so I am back in time for the game.
Not a lot of love in these posts for Walker and maybe not his best game but he is in the side as we do not have a ruck man so blitz is rucking and Walker has to play forward and ruck. If he kicked straight today still could have is he'd with 3. And who would play second kp forward? Vardy not...
I think tackling has further evolved from grabbing arms to wrapping legs around as part of tackle to further reduce ability to dispose of ball. There have been a few this year like parker where legs of tackler trap player with balls lower leg while twisting the body causing stress on ankles and...
Australia plus... basically same thing (same pay TV channel) so can watch same places.
Lots of sports bars around depending on area you are staying. Some hotels will have also.

I t
I think they are forced to jump early else the bigger bodied ruck men will block their run and beat them body on body. Jumping early they win some but also reduce opposition effective taps.
Thurlow good in 1st game back
Gregson very good and has spark
Lang does good things at the right times
Bews solid down back on small forwards and gave some run in 2nd half
Cockatoo going to be a great player just needs some games under belt.
These guys should play seniors all year. They will...
THis is something the AFL have been trying to get out of the game for a while ie punches and high contact to the head.
The one that is closest from my memory, recent times, is scarlett hitting balantyne and he got 3 weeks (it was 4 but early plea) for that from memory so could be 2-4 weeks...
This is in part a response to zones in that there is now more opportunity to do it and can assist with breaking the defensive lines by getting a free player on the outside.
Before zones it used to be more common to follow you opposition player to the interchange and wait for the new player to...
Haven't read all the posts so might be repeating someone but my real problem with Hird now is that he is not actively shouting out his innocence but is instead trying to get off on a technicality (and technicality that he is struggling to get a judge to agree with).
If you kill someone and the...
Nakia Cockatoo
Not sure if is a highlights package for him anywhere but was this on AFL.com
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-09-27/cockatoo-boosts-draft-hopes
and he did kick this goal in that match

I don't think any picks in last 2 or 3 years would be making a huge difference as generally takes 40-60 games for players to become consistent AFL performers. The real issue looks to be with your recruiters so there is some resistance from opposition supporters to the Demons being rewarded for...
If the example was to be set it should have been set with the Freo runner constantly interfering in the Geelong game a few weeks back. Instead the AFL said he just had a bad day and gave no penalty (making it seem like a good thing for all clubs to do) ... Guess Nigel just had a bad day also
Wonder if same pov if afl said ok free you fin second and get home state advantage ... You are playing at the Waca a ground you don't train or play at and doesn't match your game style?
When you are employed by a company there are conditions around that employment (code of conduct etc) and if you break that code your employer can take action ... The decision on if you did breach any conditions and the punishment is managed internally by the employer. After that as an employee...
IMO selwood doesn't so much duck his head but he does allow tackle to take him on upper arm and then lift his arms as if trying to get them clear of the tackle to dispose of the ball. This causes tacklers arms to slip onto his shoulder. Most players lift arms before being tackled so ball is free...
Argument should be simple which had more force Mitchell smacking Hunt in throat and dropping player to the ground or Johnson knee to chest that wasn't even remonstrated by anyone (except media blowing out of proportion because Embley incident still fresh in mind)?
Mitchell's hit off the ball...
