It should be from the start not when the game is lost. This should have been embedded at all training sessions and played during match sim and practice matches.
Maybe we could move the ball faster, man up their cheap easy passess all over the ground, have the forwards lead to diffferent areas and not all clog the same area, keep the ball away from May, don't be afraid to take the game on. Not the same old Dogs we are so predictable. This is on the...
I would have thought that any appointment would be great news and we would announce it as soon as possible. The longer it goes without any announcement worries me.
I agree, you would think the Board would be accountable to the members but I don't think that is a view held by the Directors and the members are virtually powerless to enact change at a Board level.
I'm not sure that opportunity is available to members. As I understand it no questions come from the floor, you must send any questions to the Board and they vet the ones to be discussed. It's a closed shop for the boys and girls club.
It's a bit of both but certainly cannot have a game plan which is totally unsuitable for the players, must work with the players we have and modify for strategies to best suit. You will never have the perfect model but if you have buy in from the players you have every chance of being competitive.
I'm not having a go at you as I respect your comments but I would like to know the other ways we can show our frustration that will have an impact upon the decision makers.
Some people have short memories or forget how Dale and Williams s**t the bed in our 2021 final series and carried the PTSD into 2022.
I'm not one for bagging players, Lipinski is a receiver and generally a good ball user and sure the pressure of the game got to him, the test is to see how he...
How do you explain our forward entry strategy, currently is slow and indirect which results in bombing on our forwards head. This is probably the worst option for a forward entry yet the Dogs continually use this option.
How would you explain our midfield strategy for when a team gets a run on...
Really, I don't think you do understand if you think the Dogs plan and train for these experiences. You are entitled to your opinion which I don't agree with but I won't lower myself to your level with insulting personal comments.
I don't think you don't understand my post because nowhere did I suggest this is not part of an elite footballing program. In fact I watch many other clubs and their play reflects the fundamentals I have described. I just don't see it when i watch the Dogs play.
I seriously suggest you read my...
I think other sides have a better system and their players know the role better. You cannot cover every circumstance and players need to adapt to the conditions so either our players aren't up to it, they don't understand their role or the coaching is inadequate.
I'm from a basketball playing and coaching background. IMO there would be numerous game plans depending on the situation for example, forwards, midfielders and defenders should each have a system for when we have the ball and when we don't have the ball, when a team gets a run on and when we get...
This is not entirely correct. Reading from the FFC constitution we have 11 Directors: President, CEO (appointed by the Board), 3 Directors appointed by the Board and can be reappointed at the Boards discretion, and out of the 6 remaining Directors 2 shall be elected by the members for 3 year...
Local Councils have the same format. If the Council accepts your question they provide an answer at a Council open forum but you cannot ask another question in response to their answer.
So how do we make the FCC Board accountable?
We are harming the club by not taking any action. Everyone knows Bevo had a poor year and he needs help, that's not the issue, the issue is what we do about and that includes transparency for the members that the Board supposedly represents.
