    If they really really weren't going to build a new station, they could potentially get away with a loopback at the QUT busway stop to allow for city shuttles along with the upgraded Exhibition station. I can't see anything else they'd really be able to pull.

    Where's the nearest busway/metro stop? Obviously that's what they rely on for the Gabba now, so a combo of that plus Exhibition would be an upgrade.

    Accor and Moore Park (SCG/SFS) shuts down some streets but not major roads. MCG only shuts down the throughways in the surrounding park.

    There was plenty of smoke about moving our final against the Swans there in 2024 and not once was it brought up that it's technically unreconfigurable so if anything changed it was last year.

    The drop is fantastic as a viewer in the stadium on that bottom level. Having been at the front of the Gabba and the MCG (no drop) and Giants (drop), actually being able to see the other side of the field while being close to the action is a big win.
