Pretty sure i saw this stat in a recent article.
Mitchell was something like 51/49 between his preferred and non-preferred (if you can call it a preferred for him).
Angus Brayshaw was the next closest of current players at 62/38 or something similar.
In the NRL, didn't the opponent still have to beat the Storm to get the points? In other words, if their opponent won, the opponent got their points; if Storm won, no one got points?
It's not an unreasonable assumption. At the very least they know they will get lower picks next year - even if they won the flag, they would get pick 18 (compared to 20 this year).
More of a reflection on Brayshaw. He is not cut out for presidency. He has played his part in keeping the Kangaroos in Melbourne (mostly) - time to pass on the baton.
His blunders are starting to add up.
Well yes, but perhaps it is cheaper for the Government to move AA and subsidise this soccer club rather than continue with the status quo.
Who knows. I just think its easy for supporters to jump to conclusions on these matters.
I suggest you go back and read your original post and then ask yourself whether anything in what I have just quoted is relevant. You seem to be confusing the issue (and yourself) more by attempting to explain yourself. Notions of cost/penalty and product/crime values have nothing to do with your...

You initially said "given this kind of inflationary perspective, it looks like you've not only reached that level, you've possibly surpassed it". You attempted to use inflation to bolster your...
Yeah... no.
Kudos for recognising that inflation exists. Points off for getting it completely wrong though. $20 today is worth less than it was in the 90s. Adelaide's breaches (at least those reported) are not even close to the breaches by Carlton, Essendon and Melbourne in the 90s/00s.
That...
So... his time at the club was supposedly better than Cook 's equivalent start at Geelong, yet he was "getting ahead of himself"? Everyone knows why he left - Kangaroo supporters choose to blame everyone but their president though.
