    News Vale Shane Tuck.

Without going into specifics for the family's sake, this is the second loss for Michael within three days. He'll be devestated. RIP Shane, thoughts with the Tucks and Abletts.

Which is the biggest loser of a player to change clubs chasing a premiership and failing miserably?

Both Buddy and Buckley (x 2) left the club they were at and then lost grand finals to the club they left. That is a miserable failure. Certainly both played good footy at their new club, but didnt taste the sweet success, meanwhile the team they left won 2 or three more flags. Unlucky, at least...

    2019 AGM

Don wanted it presented at the life members lunch, because his football mates attend that. My personal opinion is that the AGM is better as anyone that wants to pay respect to Don can attend, including his mates. Pretty easy for him to book a couple of tables, or even a room at a near by venue...

No, if your pick is not worth enough points you need to get the remainder of the points from your next pick. If you don’t need all the points that pick is worth it moves back. If you need all of those points then you go to you next pick for the remainder and that one slides back.

Would be nice for us if it worked that way, but it doesn't. The pick you use slides backwards in the draft by the number of points required. So if pick 12 is worth 1268 points and we need to use 1116 of them, our pick 12 is now only worth 152 points. Therefore it is now pick 60 as it comes...

2018 Rate My Team (Post JLT)

Have I made any major mistakes here? Am I missing obvious rookies? $96k in the bank if I need it? Appreciate the input. I am not trying to win anything, just beat my mates, so point of difference not that important.

CJ has been invited to draft camp. Good and bad, we get a chance to see he he compares, but everyone else gets a chance to see what he's worth in the bidding process.

Bit easier to do a full degree at uni back then when footy training started about 4 on a Tuesday and Wednesday. I know guys do uni now but it's part time. James might need a high VCE score to do what he wants.

I'm not convinced it's to hide him. As I said earlier he is quite academic, I think he's concentrating on his VCE while still playing school footy. If he chose to play TAC he'd be training a couple of extra nights. He would have seen Lochie's career end before it started, perhaps he's just...

Review Round 8, 2017: North Ballarat Roosters v Box Hill Hawks, 11 June 2017, 1.00pm @ Eureka Stadium

I was very impressed with Pittonet, especially in the first half. He dominated the ruck, and took a few strong marks. No doubt needs another strong but when he's doing a solo job in the ruck he doesn't have much time to get forward. The commentary was terrible really. Banged on about how Nth...

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn, Changkuoth Jiath - 2017 category B rookie

CJ didn't play this week due to injury, slight knock to his knee at training on Thursday from what I've been told. Nothing major. Langford played well apparently but wasn't named in the best.

Resource What does your local Football Club wear?

It's a bit easier just adding the pink, but the girls had input into it and it's what they wanted. The logo with the eyelashes is used by the netball club, so it's been adapted, not just made up. They wanted to be bulldogs like the men and boys but with a touch of feminine. The club song is...

    Ellinbank Football League

Anyone at Ellinbank v Longwarry on the weekend? Lots of reports that the final kick that was given a point was clearly a goal. James appears to be quite academic, judging by this achievement. He's the first student on the left, definitely has the superman jaw. Hope he does whatever makes him happy, but I also hope that is football too.

If Hayes gets his stuff together he could be the best of the lot. Has huge amounts of natural ability, just needs to want it badly enough and do the work. There are good signs the last couple of weeks.
