Thoughts are that is a victim mindset!
Sitting there complaining about your own lot instead of doing something about it.
Sure the league has to play their role in ensuring some equality across each division so their is no blowouts but seriously throwing in the towel at half time because you...
The first four weeks are grading aren't they?
There is always anomalies this early in the campaign and once sorted with the reshuffle it settles down.
The only anomalies post the re-grading is from those coaches who wax the first month but you would hate to think that happens.
I'm not hiding - no one at our club is hiding!
I personally don't need to make comment on it especially to the faceless and ill-informed!
We are the 2017 Premiers and we are looking forward to the season ahead.
We’ve practice matches against EFL powerhouse Vermont today.
Looking forward to getting back into it although both clubs are without a host of players.
All is well at Clifton Park - training back in full force - numbers strong and standards good.
Continued focus on our young talent - majority of the list in tact and the addition of Mark Austin who's been around the place for a few years now anyway is a big plus along with the return of Tommy...
Totally agree - how Maric didn't win the league medal would astound all those who have watched & followed Premier this year.
As you said totally embarrassing.
Only explanation is he argues/abuses the umpires?
Correct Under 19's are free to drop back to Under 19's even if playing seniors/reserves all year.
In Zac Hislop's first year at Abers (2012 I think) he was Under 19's qualified however played all season in the seniors. Our seniors were knocked out in the first final and he played the following...
Our 17's third team (Div 5) won last Sunday with 1's and 2's today but correct all three teams are premiers.
An outstanding effort from the boys, coaches, families, supporters and club as a whole.
No doubt your attitude would be different if Pacco were in the mix or Hillside were in Premier division.
Top four wasn't settled until two weeks ago really. Last year was a bit closer naturally with Douttas and Marbi just missing by a game.
There has been one whipping boy over the past three...
Well said mate - Brett has been outstanding for our footy club. A super bloke and terrific coach.
Having coached some of the kids he's coached over these past few seasons has been an absolute pleasure. Not only well developed young talent but cracking fellas too.
On the other hand we'd also...
Well said and just to add to it.
Those actually in the know at our club (I'm sure Strathmore are the same) are confident our programs are well structured, organised, fair and professional. If you actually knew those involved who've started our program, played a role over the years or currently...
Absolutely I do - in excess of two decades of hard work to be exact. Struggled big time at junior level but due to the hard work of many we've been able to build and continue to evolve a program that has had some success.
Totally agree there should be no limit. Why should clubs be penalised for doing the right thing in working hard to become a strong community based sporting club.
Are all clubs working as hard as they possibly can and are they thinking laterally on how to continually improve? Or do they just...
You tell me Turbo. Not sure the issue.
Just posted it as I buyer beware as I would hate to see any one of the great people at the Tulla footy club done over by this rank human like some other great people I know have.
This is crystal ball stuff isn't it?
Firstly - you have no idea what these players are paid - nor would 98% of people involved in the EDFL. I wouldn't know if Anderson at Pacco is on $1,500 or $900.
Secondly - not sure what club would have built a model forecasting Player X to be injured (or...
I don't agree.
Look back say 20 years ago - sides like Abers, Marbi and Greenvale absolutely battling away.
Takes a lot of hard work and time from many great people to build it and then continually improve.
I'm sure the Pacco junior program is in better shape today than 5 years ago. Numbers...
Not all clubs Turbo - some clubs have less Ins than Outs this season.
It also isn't ONLY possible to have a better list through increased spending. Simply incorrect.
Fairly simply I would've thought - current Premier Division teams only so Division One results not relevant to this.
It is the same reason I didn't include Oak Park, Northern Saints or Airport West.
Craigieburn haven't won a game so 0% as spent the previous four years outside of Premier...
Moving on from the Douttas saga.
Many have argued the points system and salary cap is a negative.
If you look closely at the last five years (2013 - 2017) across all three senior competitions it highlights the importance of getting your house in order in all areas not just points and salary...
The Top 5 as it stands is where those in the know would have pegged it don't you think?
Order a little off naturally but I'm certainly not surprised with the make up of the five teams who will battle it out for the four spots.
Avondale the ones most likely to shape it from the bottom five.
