Can't believe how biased some of you people are. Choosing clearly inferior players just to spite the Dons. Pricks.
Essendon's is “Sauvitor in modo fortiter in re” which is translated as “Gentle in manner, resolute in deed”.
This is nowhere near as cool as Sydney, who are winning the Motto Competition with ease.
And I'm saying a united Islam is not a thing, and never will be, any more than the KK will join the Catholics, or the Unitarians will join the Anglicans.
And, while you're digressing, that Saudi Arabia is not Islam, just because Islamic people happen to rule it. Secular authority != religious...
Wait, what?
So Christians should all be labelled America-first Nutcases who want all media except their own banned and carry around signs that say "God Hates ****" and "Hurricane Katrina Was God's Judgement"?
Islam isn't a ****ing monolith, Grumpy. It's a religion with denominational...
Yeah. We really would.
We'd do it even more if it was English, or American.
I don't see you going off at people for using "gay" as a synonym for "bad", which is equally discriminatory.
edit: Damn, Pie eyed, that's ousttanding. Are you sure you're a Collingwood supporter?
Yeah, where the hell did that come from? At the start of the season it was Fletcher, Ryder, and a couple of smalls and some kids who might be good at some point in the future.
I certainly didn't expect competition for key defensive spots, particularly not while Ryder was rucking.
Why?
Would you rather a player who got ten 50m kicks and no other touches (50m per disposal), or a player who got ten 50m kicks and ten useful 10m handballs (28m per disposal)?
Useless stat, that one.
Re: 10 reasons why I can't wait for 2010
You're looking forward to 2010 because you get to see Essendon players sacked?
What the hell?
From my point of view, I'm still having rather a lot of fun in 2009. We're in the top four atm, so lets look around and enjoy the view.
I'm pretty sure we'd have to take Lloyd out too; he was taken as a comp pick before the first round.
Where do F/S selections come in this?
If we lose those too (Fletcher, Watson, Neagle), we're pretty ****ed.
Franklin kicked five even though he got beaten most of the time - showed that he's a true star.
Seriously, Hooker played as well as anyone could, his teammates helped out, and Franklin still picked up that seemingly random ball, put it through. Took every opportunity.
I thought Hooker did a...
Listened on radio, so not going to comment on MOTY/GOTY, despite the commentators going off on Rioli, sounds like a shot.
