    QFA Div 4&5

From the south I’m pretty sure cooparoo, pac pines and mt Gravatt are going up. And maybe Labrador also. But then who comes into the league

I heard it was 35. Hope I’m wrong.

It’s all well and good having a cap. But that doesn’t make the bottom teams richer. Just means top team have to come down to their level. Which is all well and good if you can recruit blokes for different reasons other then dollars. For me it’s the points system that will make it worse for...

    QAFL 2018

I doubt any clubs are looking to recruit next year. The new salary cap at 65k pretty much squashed that. And if that wasn’t enough the new points system makes it mission impossible.

    QAFL 2018

Reality is that the cap will make it impossible to recruit anyone of good quality. Not just ex afl players. And with the cap reducing each yr until it’s around 45-50k. Makes it near impossible to keep any decent players. Do you think neafl players who want to just have a kick go back to qafl...

    QAFL 2018

Something like that could potentially work for some clubs up here in qld. Because finding sponsors and supporters seems to be a lot more difficult then down south where people live a breath footy.

    QAFL 2018

Pretty sure Labrador and palmy would be way above 70k and are getting bang for buck

    QAFL 2018

For example If someone is getting around 4-600+ but now the club can only give them around 150 or work on Saturday’s. or go to vic minor leagues and get even more. Also the cap will reduce what clubs can recruit in terms of standard of footballer Thus drop in standard of footy. There is...

    QAFL 2018

What’s that going to achieve besides a drop in the standard of footy??? Not everyone can finish on top. If we are trying to even up the comp. and there will always be s**t teams. It’s just fact.

    QAFL 2018

Will just be a players cap. Coaches ain’t included. I’m pretty sure it’s an average of what clubs are paying. So few clubs will have their work cut out to get under. For me it might drop the standard a tad. It’s not like the football world up here is thriving with young local talent. And...

Wonder why granny at yeronga Thought Southport was a success. Decent crowd. Great viewing all around the ground. Plenty of parking. And the playing deck was good. and is good size unlike yeronga So don't know what their thinking is

Nowhere near as bad down there then what baz had to put up with. And not just him that copped it. I doubt anyone would take it to well.

    QAFL 2017

Well that's why O&M, GV Geelong eastern and the like are great standard of footy. Because you have great sponsors who chip in not just coin but employment or help the club in other ways. To bring in the big recruits. Like ex afl players. Who locals pay to get in the gate to watch at there club.

    QAFL 2017

I would of thought that the NEAFL was a state league. And QAFL was next best being the premier comp in the state. A fair figure I think would be around 120k. If there was a cap. I'm just thinking of leagues in Vic that have a cap and similar standard. But their cap.is around 150k Why drop...

    QAFL 2017

If a cap is in. It needs to be heaps more then 75k. If you look at the premier leagues in Vic that have caps its around 200k. Obviously its bit high for here but the "premier" comp in the state needs a decent cap if it even needs it. Magpies have just signed corrie. And with harwood. Both ex...

Haha too easy. Bit hard to read sarcasm. Don't know if true but heard the cricket club have filed an official compliant with qld police. Interesting what will come of it if so.

Hahahahaha don't know about your eyes but I can see a bloke with a maroon hoody in the car and others standing around it. If that's not enough to say someone from palmy was driving then they clearly are condoning the pudrid behaviour.

50+ goals will be a bit hard to replace for a side that just made the finals this year.

Something stars. I can't remember the name of the club. But it's where dusty fletcher is playing. Also have heard surfers are losing a few to Melb clubs.
