    yep. agree with all that. I also think it saved the AFL from a bit of egg on its face doing it a) a footy state and b) a sports made city. Also, AO is a great venue and SA has better wine, beer and food so.........

    would love to see this re-done based on first few rounds. suspect Freo would vastly enhance their ranking and you might have the dons in there Crows, lions and Hawks have been well off the expected pre-season pace Also keen to see how/where the dogs shake out.

    geographically it's NT v ACT on the jigsaw side of things ACT probably logistically easier on a lot of fronts, but do have a decent GWS presence. NT i imagine is a nightmare to setup and run, but it would be cool to have teams "around" the country.

    i reckon we're a similar prospect to the Dees game style wise as well as scoreboard wise. tend to be accurate when we do fire off a shot, but we're yet to have more scoring shots than an opponent this year.

    look away italians (i did get this from an italian though) one chilli and some whole garlic cloves in pan....dont chop them heat with oil add pasta (dry...yes dry) and coat. Add wine, then bottle of passata or a couple of tins of whole tomatoes. either half the bottle of passata or both tins...

    Port's backline selection might change a bit Minus Wright, we're not that tall up foward (Jones, Langford, Stringer, resting ruck). might free Aliir up to play loose more, or they could go mobile and drop a tall. We're suspect on the rebound 50 transition game.

    interesting one our 2 games v port last year were decided under a kick Port are in that top 6 bracket for me though. So should beat us. We're in the middle of the 7-12 bracket. Where in that bracket will be how we shape up in these games.
