Someone on the Croc thread pointed out just quickly he got the ball onto his foot compared with Ward with that chance very early on that got smothered.
It's a fair call.
I don't know if you ever look at the Squiggle but I find a pretty good indicator of how sides are travelling.

At first I was surprised to see us have a reasonable uptick on our attack and only a small knock on our defence after the Pies game but then I remembered...
Oh mate great minds think alike, had just written the below when I read your post.
I'd love to have Cholly in this game, those long kicks into packs in 50 are the ones where he sticks his dukes up and ends up with the ball.
I was curious why Meek was the subject of his ire.
Most others were looking away but Massimo's eyes were like saucers watching Sam administer his dressing down.😳
That is a slight concern at CB, he's the only one who looks like he can get the ball out. We won stoppages again today but CB was 8-16 against. If we got a bit more out of there then some of these momentum shifts would be stalled before they properly get going.
He's up to 5th on the goalkicking chart. He really is something else, his judgement is superb. That run up the left wing and then spotting up Gunston in a one on one was exemplary.
Interesting to see him interviewed and saying that he wasn't happy about being rested just week.
I think he wants the Coleman and/ or 💯.
He's just got more smarts than anyone that plays on him.
I know what you mean but do you think when Moore and Sicily have been rubbed out that Butler has essentially been dropped, rather than omitted due to a niggle/ soreness or whatever?
If there weren't the other outs I'd tend to agree but in your scenario he's gone from best 23 to behind 3 other...
I agree but with Moore and Sicily both suspended I take it that both Butler and Perez must certainly be struggling a fair bit to be omitted, you wouldn't choose to leave out 2 players when you have 2 suspended, 4 ins is quite a few( I don't include McCabe/ Gunston as that's obvious regardless of...
I suppose, let's hope we can nab some midfield talent going forward.
I agree, we've done exceptionally well to get the tall forward talent onto our list that we have, without using any high picks whatsoever.
Shout out to Sleepy and his crew!
I agree that we have a fair few but doesn't that mean that they're not as difficult find?
We've got uncle Gunston, who we traded in originally for a pick around 20? when he was young, then got him back from Brisbane in a trade for a MSD player.
Lewis, virtually last pick in a draft.
Dear...
I'm not making any negative judgement on Crawf who was a champ ,but I think Dermy is perhaps, retrospectively, the most underrated player of all time. I don't think he was underrated when he played, it's just come in as time moves on, largely because opposition fans who saw him hated him and...
I agree, the depth and development of the list is great. The only area to fill is the most difficult and costly, and that of course is A grade midfielders.
Yeah, the only other choice was replace Perez with BMac or maybe Ryan(taking Scrim for Sic) and keep Weddle primarily on a wing.
Looks like Weddle is going to replace Perez and then who else to play that right wing, maybe if Butler was still in then no Morrison but we've already brought in...
