Well not the game SKOB wanted. Threatened ever so briefly in the 2nd qrt and then it was all one way traffic. Essentially over as a contest early in the 3rd. OC just too clean and skilled. Some of the coast to coast goals in the 2nd half of the 2nd qrt were breathtaking. Best side of year wins...

As a scribe from yesteryear I was told to reach out to the clubs for a report (obviously wasn't at all games).....very rarely got anything back. Had to go off the scores and best players most of the time.

Well someone was playing there MP!!! As stated the ground looked fine! I was only peeking over the fence warming up for a run. Yes.....alas Im far too infrequent these days.

Had a look at the Trott on Saturday afternoon (Was there for a running event at albert park) so saw some of the first quarter.....looked like every ground in Melbourne. Should not be too many complaints!

Tough weekend with even my ever reliable SKOB letting me down. Saw the last quarter and a half.....SKOB were the better team in that period but too late she cried. Big games coming up to end this half of the year.

My observations in junior footy are the exact opposite....the well heeled areas have plenty of people doing roles .... the struggling demographics are missing umpires, team managers etc.....people doing two roles...This is only footy but if you look at struggling areas their footy clubs are out...
