Dempsey showed amazing class in a high pressure game. He’s going to be some player.

Toast Gryan Miers extends contract until 2026!... and 100 Games

Strikes me as someone who just works ridiculously hard at his game. Love the feeling of surety I get when he gets the ball in the forward half.

Review Geelong exorcise the Demons by 15 points.

The key moment for me was when Hunter was tracking the ball at half forward and there was no Cats player within 20 metres - the speed with which Close and Holmes closed on him, Close with the perfect tackle and then up the other end for a goal. Brilliant, tough, decisive footy. It’s been missed.

    Toast Esava

I get the sense that he loves the club and is well loved, but at his age now and having proved he can play I think he and his manager will know his value. So imo he’ll only stay for a good contract and a guarantee he’ll play if this form persists, even if everyone else is available, which is...

Toast Tom Atkins - Premiership Player - 100 games

Atkins clearly works so hard at his game. His skills and poise have considerably improved — he’s now one of our cleanest with ground balls, and doesn’t get caught nearly as much as he used to. His will and toughness were always there, but he’s something more than an honest battler now.

Review Geelong defeats Blues by 26 points at MCG - Rd 17, 2021

Depends on your definition of good. I've watched the Blues a bunch of times this year, including games where he's racked up more stats than he did today, and I just find him to be a very ineffectual player. When you're small, not quick and not a great kick, you've got to have something else, and...

Fogarty looks like he’ll go the way of Smedts and Lang. Just no impact and no weapons.

Glad to hear it, and very much hope we don't get rid of Thurlow especially. Considering our dire kicking performance in the PF, getting rid of one of our better kicks for peanuts would be very dumb.

Rumour GFC 2017 Player Trading, Drafting, FA, Rumours, and Wish lists.

It doesn't seem to make any sense – surely, if cap is the issue, he'd be on meagre wages and wouldn't make much of a difference there. I don't think he's performed that poorly, when given the chance, to be given the boot yet – I hope they give him one more year, as we'll get peanuts for him. I...

When the Saints are on, which they have been the last couple of times against us, their pressure game is good. And as we saw against Sydney in the prelim, we're still suspect under sustained physical pressure. Keen to see how we go with this this week and against the Pies the week after...
