We won 9 games in 2006 and went on to play finals in 07. Admittedly Mitch and Hodge had 5 years in the system and Bud and Rough were coming into their prime. I think its very realistic to go better than 7 wins and maybe win another 5 to make it 12 next year. Can only hope.
Similar to Yabby medal votes. Bit more love for Hardwick and Moore from the coaches.

21 tackles this year that have gone to the tribunal and resulted in suspension. Only Nathan Broad with 4 weeks has been judged as more severe. Sic got 3 weeks and none of the others got more than 2 weeks. Staggering.
Feeling like 2006 for me with the 9 wins then. It was frustrating at times but could see the potential of our future premiership teams. This team is very capable of getting 10 wins this year and improve on that in 2024 so I'm bullish and expecting to squeeze into the 8 next year.
Maybe not the place for it but I explore a lot of old music and was listening to a guy from the 60's called Charlie Starr. My ears pricked up when he was singing a song titled Luke McCabe! Luke probably doesn't even know.
