Wind direction is important. Wind is currently NW. Tomorrow it is West which is directly cross-wind for two runways. Could potentially cause some issues. Wind for tomorrow morning is still forecasted at +40km/h which is above the threshold for a cross-wind landing.
The wind is forecasted to be worse tomorrow. Near gale force. I do believe Sydney Airport will be reduced to a single runway (from three) as the cross wind threshold will be crossed. There will be delays. International flights get priority. I'm flying up reasonably early so hopefully will be OK...
The AFL fixture does not give the so called weaker Melbourne based clubs a chance.
If for ten straight years if any of (North, Bulldogs, Melbourne) were given;
-the opening game of the season
-ANZAC day
-17 free to air games
-Every 3rd Friday night game
-Play on Monday night rather than...
If Griffen played for one of the big Melbourne teams (i.e. Carlton, Collingwood or Essendon) he would be rated much, much higher than he currently is.
If he;
-played 17+ games on free to air TV
-played Anzac day
-played in the opening game of the year
-played every 3rd Friday night
-played...
I thought this thread would have been much more one sided in favour of DT and SC. Great to see that Footy Tipping still plays and important role for many people's footy experience.
Robbo would be happy;

Nice to hear that there is still some love for the good old fashioned footy tipping, so simple, but so difficult. With GC in the comp this year and the bye coming into play it is going to be harder than ever.
Would not be the footy season without the local tipping comp, like a pie and sauce...
With the rise and rise of both Dream Team and Super Coach, footy tipping has really fallen behind. The conversation around the water cooler on a Monday morning is more and more about the fantasy comps rather than the Footy Tipping.
Does anyone care about footy tipping anymore? Are you still...
Only a few weeks ago the Bulldogs had 26,797 at a home game against Fremantle.
This tells the story, the Bombers have deserted their club in a very big way.
According to Sam Edmund off Twitter: "Bulldog Dale Morris ruled out for the year now. What a shocking run the Dogs are having"
And
Stevo from the Herald Sun: "Morris gawn: Dale Morris played last finals series with break in leg. He can't carry crook shoulder though. Ruled out for...
Aker has issues. Serious issues. He has no self awareness. Has no people skills.
He believes he has done nothing wrong, absolutely zero to blame for an entire club turning on him not once, but twice with completely different groups of people.
He then goes on to say he wasn't sacked by...
We kept looking for Hall when he was double even triple teamed, why not use another option?
The turnovers across our half forward line in the end was the difference.
We are now 8-6. We will be two games outside the 8 come the end of this round. We have a tougher run home than Freo.
We just blew our top 4 chance.
No top 4, no GF chance.
We just blew our season.
How many times can one footy team let your down. Put my heart and soul into following this footy club and could not agree more, every time it is must win, everything on the lines stuff, we go missing.
Come the big moments, we go missing.
Come the big chances, we don't take them.
Gutted.
What is mentally strong?
Win the first 20 games of the season. Clearly one of the best teams ever to play a home and away season in over 100 years of football.
Then can't win the flag? Is that mentally strong?
