Enjoy following the banter on this thread and don't always comment but heres my 2 cents worth.
We all knew that the Qld sides were going to be a LOT better than the old Eastern. Who in their right mind, if they had the choice of playing for a Qld club versus a Sydney or Canberra club, in the...
As Billy and Ruffles said above 12 Magpies, throw out some names of who you think should be in the squad then.
Dont think there are too many from down south that would feel unlucky not to be in it.
Not sure its really bias, just an indication of the strength of the North and how far us southerns...
Tigers were woeful and Uni were very good.
Uni just ran the tigers off their legs. Desire, skill and willingness to work their tails off. The students were outstanding.
Difficult to pick best as the entire team went about it with great resolve.
Going to be a very long year for the Tigers if...

And people wonder about Canberra??????

Justa is correct, that down here there are only a few that contribute, there may be plenty that look and read but when it comes to voicing an opinion it is very thin on the ground ( a bit like what some of our teams will be next/this year).
I personally think the NEAFL is a great idea and for it...

Article in the Canberra Times yesterday.

I'll keep going with the tips Justa:
Belco
Eastlake
Saw a fair bit of the Tigers this year and they would be kicking themselves at some of the loses.
The 2 against Uni were very disappointing.
At times they payed the type of footy that won it for them last year but the...
