Just watched Chooseday night football on Fox Sports, WCE vs RICH round 12 at Etihad in 2009. Nicnat's first game. Very interesting seeing Masten, Ebert and Selwood out there as second year players and Swift in only his second or third game. Ebert and Selwood have come on in leaps and bounds...
Masten was very good today. Dalziell on the other hand was pretty ineffective for the amount of touches he had, and a couple of shocking misses on goal.
Schofield was very good tonight, should retain his place. I agree with most, only changes should be:
Masten (inj.) -> Kerr/Stevens
LeCras (inj.) -> Strijk
Lynch -> NicNat (if fit)
The West today mentions that, "Hams is not only playing to please his mates, but he's desperate to be the rookie upgraded before the start of the season."
Are they talking nonsense or are we actually allowed to upgrade Hams before the start of the season?
Houlihan will definitely not be best 22 this year, I'm certainly in no rush to upgrade him. Rosa and Dazliell are miles ahead of him at the moment. I saw him on Saturday playing for East Freo against East Perth and he is a long way off being a decent AFL player, kicking is absolutely horrible.
Darling should play 22 games this year, would pick him ahead of Lynch and Wilson on today's performance.
Weedon should be given plenty of opportunity as well. Going to find it tough to be best 22 with a full strength side but I'd like to see him get some games this year. Dalziell and Rosa very...
That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. You should always, ALWAYS, watch the ball hit your foot. Thank god you're not our skills coach :eek:
2006 rnd 17 vs Adelaide. Crows flying on top of the ladder only to be demloished by 82 points at Subi.
The 2006 prelim against the Crows also up there as far as great games go, but the round 17 clash was probably as close to a perfect game I've seen.
Fasolo will be an excellent player for you guys, I'm very surprised he slipped all the way to your pick. Great vision, skills and knows how to kick a goal. Would have loved WC to pick him if Darling and Lycett didn't slide :thumbsu:
Lol, I actually agree with Spektre. Based on that training report we will go through undefeated and win the flag in a canter. I'm as exited as anyone else, but lets not get too over the top.
