In my opinion that statement is just rubbish. When the Geelong side had 9 All Australians in 2007 and maybe 6 (I can't recall) in 2008 and some pretty good players outside of that original 9 I would suggest that the 11th best Geelong player would be chosen in just about every AFL club's side...
