Is anyone planning on going to the Gather Round game against Port? The information around tickets (or lack thereof) is appalling. Hopefully we hear from the Club soon, if not the league.
Complete lack of information on ticketing as well. No details about the member redemption period and how this works. I assume we'd need 2023 memberships, but many people don't renew memberships until after Christmas, so do they just miss out? What if a Club member wants to attend with a non-Club...
After they beat us in round 2, some random Blues supporter made an unprovoked snide comment to me that "It's gonna be a long year for the Bulldogs".
Well, he was right. At least a week longer than Carlton's year, anyway.
Absolutely - the club is in a healthy position. The balance sheet (consolidated statement of financial position) is the best way to determine an organisation's overall financial health and ours looks very rosy.
Just had a quick look. The profit includes $1.7 million in government land grants, as well as nearly $1.5 million from gaming revenue. Take those out and we're about break even - sorry to be a downer!
We'll lose the gaming revenue from 2020, but there will be a tidy sum coming in for the sale...
Not true - plenty of seats still available: https://www.ticketmaster.com.au/giants-v-western-bulldogs-elimination-final-2-olympic-park-07-09-2019/event/13005714AF315DEF
With Crozier, it feels like every game I'm turning to one of my mates and saying "Gee he's been a great pick-up". Does so many good things that we just didn't see at Freo. Cannot remember him getting beaten many times this season, if at all.
