From that article:
"If Fyfe and Freo part ways... A straight swap for Melbourne's gun WA forward Jesse Hogan is most logical...
If the Dockers can secure Hogan independently of Fyfe, then trading him for another West Australian key position player like Cam McCarthy or fellow Giant Rory Lobb...

"...This is Doerre's top 20 from 2016.
No. 1: Sean Darcy
Where he was picked: No. 38
Analysis: Darcy is the competition's best ruckman under the age of 24 and can be the best player in...
But the fact is that they haven't played, and despite having by far the youngest playing side we will finish 13th on the ladder (not 18th, where you would (all other things being equal) the least experienced side to finish).
I found this stat via a reliable source on Twitter. It is the average median games played across all 20 games this season. This is very good news for the future (also good news for Geelong and Melbourne).
Bonus: Each slime players is, on average, 2.3 x as experienced as his Freo opposite number.
To be fair: I think the submission was that the starting point for this class of offence is 3 weeks, and that the penalty should be assessed by reference to that standard. I don't think he was saying it should be three weeks.
It wasn't a straight swap, but (much as I hate to say it) it was a sliding door. If Freo had not given up Pick 4 and the Compo Pick, they could have used pick 4 on Scott Lucas, and Matthew Lloyd would have been available at (Freo's) Pick 1 the next year. Of course, that would have meant no Clive.
And so the predictable and endless media speculation begins: https://www.perthnow.com.au/sport/the-game-afl-podcast/should-fremantle-dockers-be-worried-about-adam-cerras-contract-ng-b88864400z
I agree with this. I was at the Richmond game earlier this year and he did something very similar just a few metres away from where I was sitting. He got away with it that time, but now his number has come up. Both incidents happened in games where he would have been within his rights to be...
The diplomacy and integrity were impressive. He clearly has an affection for Freo but was able to put it aside in the interests of his role as an objective commentator.
Case in point: We all know that Ed Langdon is a flight risk. At one point this evening Pav commented on how Ed needed to...

This isn't quite right. This is one of the few exceptions to the rule that "a contract is a contract".
The starting point for the Court is that any restraints of trade is void and unenforceable. The party wanting to enforce the restraint must, to reverse the position, to show that it has a...
