It is fair. Over rates are a joke and should be cracked down on. Test cricket is almost twice as slow as local cricket of getting through the overs.
Understand it will be slower, but it shouldn't be that much slower.
I've probably got my tin foil hat on but isn't the West owned by Channel 7 who would probably be first to know?
Maybe someone got ahead of themselves and published it too early before it is official.
I am just clutching at straws here, I just want to go to two MCG tests in one summer haha.

The West Australian is reporting that MCG has the test. Don't believe it just yet though.
That is why I think a bonus point on the ladder for getting over 100 points is a good idea.
I understand it is unfair given different teams play in different conditions and some teams play most their games under a roof but since when was the AFL fair, a 22 game season is hardly fair.
I believe...
Not sure if these has been mentioned as I haven't read through the whole thread, but if we want attacking football, maybe we should award a bonus point on the ladder if you get to 100 points. Win or lose.
Gives the coaches an incentive to coach attacking football.
Would another option for Vic clubs rather than head interstate be to have hubs in Country Victoria in places which are relatively unaffected by COVID in places like Bendigo or Ballarat?
I think it is at that stage in Victoria. We need to stop footy in Victoria and come up with a real hub model.
6 in WA, 6 in SA and 6 in NSW, something like that.
Either push the grand final out, or we do have the shorter quarters, play some catch-up with some mid-week games.
Anyone else convinced that he picked this up in Ireland, and the virus was somehow dormant accounting for the negative tests and came back?
I am far from a medical expert, but it just seems like a massive coincidence that one of the few international footballers in the whole comp was the one...
I am glad we seemed to get away with it and I guess I will trust the medical experts as I assume they know their stuff.
I just can't wrap my head around how if a school or a business gets a case, the whole place is shut down for weeks, however we are playing Carlton next week.
This is very likely false, but if it is true, not driving up his price at all.
He should be letting his footy do the talking, and let his agent do the agenting.
Any news on the potential of a false positive or was that only ever Don's fans wishful thinking?
I don't know what the percentages are of a false positive, but if you have had 720 odd AFL players getting tested 3 times a week for a month, that is roughly 9,000 tests. Even if false positives are...
I like the 'combined wins in 2015' to measure draw difficulty.
Yes we don't know how teams will go in 2016 but 2015 is pretty much all we have got to work with.
Yes of course there will be movers and shakers as always but it is guess work to say who they will be.
I think for every time that a...
