Forgot about him, Lach ... whether he can play kpd still seems a bit unknown, but he'll be a good athletic project that already has some of the key tools ... maybe latish 2ndR, but most likely 3rdR for mine (depending on how it pans out, I wouldn't mind us using our 3rdR on him and would def...
george, there's not a hell of a lot out there that I'm sold on ...
Talia would be the best KPD in the draft and will probably go somewhere b/w 5-15 ... a little laconic, but a good athlete, very mobile, reads the play well, tidy skills by foot and works hard ... should develop into a Sam...
It's easier said than done for most ...
V-diet ... whilst I have never used it myself (I know of others who have) I think it's principles are far superior to any other fat loss diet I've come across ... goal of the V-diet is to attack fat loss with an all out approach and transition into a...
Agree with c25, I like him, but not with our pick 20 imo (we should be targeting a kp or midf) ... he is v.good at what he does (3rd tall) but would only be the icing on a good fwd line structure rather than one of the central components. Maybe if we get another 2nd rounder or he slips to our...
It'd be a non-issue really ... he's been living independent of his parents this season at 17yo.

I was a Rich over Hill fan last year (though I had JZ, Hartlett and Yarran above Rich) and although his output has been better than Hill's (not by as much as many say though), I'm converted :D Hill's improvement this year has been HUGE and I would project he will go ahead of Rich MUCH sooner...
Yep, his footskills are good but not elite in my books ... he can really thump it on both feet though similar to Ziebell. Agree with roolife's mentioned strengths ... I'll add he is also good oh, is strong, is a midfield goal kicker and quite versatile.
As for weaknesses the only ones I have...
Pick 4 is gold, especially in this draft ... I'm all for attaining more picks inside the 1st 2 rounds, but not using out pick 4 unless it will get us a higher pick.
Re: Matthew Spangher
Effes is spot on ... he is an honest trier but one of those guys that doesn't really fit into any role well enough for long term ... not strong enough to take the strong forwards, not quick or sharp thinking enough to take the quick forwards and not pacy / skilled enough to...
Strong or weak draft is more in reference to depth.
Agree still early, but ...
2007 - top end talent was good (which we have seen at this early stage), but the rest was average ...
2006 - keep in mind the 1stR hasn't really come on yet as more than half were KP-rucks, but look at the rest...
West Coast and Melbourne look best positioned looking at it from a quality of talent perspective ... but the sum of part isn't always equal to the whole, so I definitely wouldn't discount Sydney who have proven they can win and compete for a flag without the collective talent of opponents and...
Disagree ... I can't think of too many small-mediums that have dramatically improved kicking, BUT I think rucks should be treated differently as many have come off massive growth spurts as young'uns and may still be growing which has an effect on things like kicking which require quite a high...
He probably hasn't been picked because athletically he's lacking (probably the same reason Broughton wasn't picked until last year) ... when you're playing that 3rd fwd / lead up role you need some pace and a big motor ... still there's not much to lose with a rookie pick, with someone like...
They have similar styles, but Watts is higher quality and has less flaws imo ...
Comparing their draft year form (note: Watts was bottom age, Butcher top age), Watts was much better at the u18c (although he didn't cop as much attention until lateish in the champs, whereas Butcher had attention...
Both are and will be damn good players, but I'd definitely go for NN without much hesitation (though I don't think it's a relevant comparison tbh).
NN, is the type of player you can build a team around ... eventually he'll be the most influential stoppage player in the league with his combo of...
I would be really surprised if he does not develop into quality AFL player and a v.important part of your side ... really the 2 main things he needs are more AFL game experience (he has played what? only the 6 games with sporadic GT) and more conditioning so he can start to impact at AFL level.
I have my fingers crossed, but he's no certainty ...
I would think Melbourne would go for the 'safe as a house' Scully / Trengove combo, but Mora may have some appeal and add genuine pace for them in the guts which they don't have much of at present.
Richmond could go either way (Mora or...
Good player ... his work inside game is up with the best of them ... he has that v.valuable burst of pace / clean hands / great vision combo ... but needs to improve his work outside of traffic (kicking is so-so and isn't very damaging imo). I think he'll be in the mix for our 2ndR pick.
