Only the biggest fools fail to shut up when they are comprehensively defeated in argument. I think the MarkedMan may be Jeff in disguise. Same quality.
I think, yet again, the GF was about the weakest six in the losing side, not the stars. The Swans had no passengers, everyone put in. Possibly Mumford was the back marker, but that was due to injury. The Hawks had half a dozen non-contributors. Roughead , Gunston, Young, probably the worst. And...
Completely disagree. You have to build a club from all levels to be successful. Geelong were mediocre for decades because they acted like a country town club - just as Port do now.
It takes a lot longer than five years to build. Management, leadership, professionalism, recruiting - you need all...
Good for football to have two viable AFL teams in every capital city, longterm.
So this coach-killing game is bad for Adelaide, but good for Sydney.
Port have never recovered from 119, and simply went back to being a suburban, provincial club. It's a shame, but Adelaide does provincial better...
A Dogs fan assuaging Hawthorn fears. You have to be kidding. You simply wouldn't know what it means to have the mental strength to win. I'm an old guy, and have seen more footy than most on here, but even I wasn't born in 54. Geelong won't get to a prelim? Must be a fan of Robert Walls.
It'd be a great idea if they made them in Collingwood, with proper labour conditions, creating employment for the happy Pie masses. Collingwood used to be the home of the rag trade manufacturing in Melbourne.
But if they get made in China like everything else, who really cares.
Re: Selwood gets off!
I was at the coach killing game against Melbourne, and witnessed the worst example of captaincy in the history of the game. (Not that any of the Dees 'leadership' group were much better.)
I don't think Geelong are going to take any notice of leadership suggestions from...
It's not obsession, just sheer enjoyment. Eight in a row - we just get great pleasure from beating the Hawks.
Collingwood like beating Carlton, Geelong like beating Hawthorn. That's the way it is.
